Live in Montreal. Beautiful and truly free improvisation between genius Bobby Mcferrin and Richard Bona. This sounds like angels playing with sound. Enjoy.
OMG then you’re gonna stop breathing when you feel the passion of the Japanese music. Let me you dear reader, start with Ru Pa Ra from Epo then Time Machine then Singer Lady then Tatsuro Yamashita then MF DOOM with Tatsuro. Dear reader, I don’t know from what music you come from but here you go, something to get you with until you find your next obsession. Good luck on the way 🍀☺️
Imagine my reaction when i saw this video...i almost fainted...Richard Bona is a LEGEND in my country Cameroon...and to see these two performing! what a great gift to my soul and a blessing to the world...this is teaching the world that music has no language, its one! just like everything else is suppose to be!!!
Underrated by whom? So if you say he is a genius, he isn't underrated. Cut the crap. He is great in a select group that understands music. That is more respect that having a lot of crazy tastless fans, i believe.
The first song is called "Dina Lam". You can find it on the album "Munia" released in 2003. The whole album is really great... In fact, all Richard Bona's music is great !
Как я завидую их свободе , импровизация не может повторяться , она как настроение - всегда разная , я успела и погрустить вначале и посмеяться в конце , спасибо 🙏
I just can't stop listening this improvisation.... Whenever I'm down, I look this up to get better... whenever I'm up, I look for this to get even better... It's just amazing! :)
Bobby makes me happy.. I listen to him all day at work. and after hours too. He has so many different styles to choose from and I appreciate every one of them.. Like I said, His music just makes me soooo very happy. He is a true genius. Thanks Bobby. :-)
These 2 go from one hip african rhythm to another and layer it beautifully with wonderful vocalizations. Bona's expressive ghost note bass popping is so tasteful and rythymically dynamic and crisp.
Absolutely Brilliant!!! Richard and Bobby are music incarnate...like the human embodiment of music. It really is a privilege to witness such creativity. 2 Million + makes me smile too Thanks for posting
This is the essence music absolutely has to get back to... Free, timeless, and epic. This is very inspirational as a musician myself. My ode to these greats.
Amazing! Just shows you the power of the force that is in us, around us and between us that is music. Great to see these icons demonstrate that. Heavenly!
im a 19 yr old black kid who like hip hop mainly but mannnn dis is some good music!!! chemistry between both singers cant be taught! Truly a Masterpiece!
lol not only is this freestyle really graceful, but to my ears it is one of my favorite things to listen to. Everyday I wish it was at least two minuets longer :3
Thanks so much Not yet for posting this ...Wow! I used to go to Mcferrin concerts in Noe Valley ( San Francisco)where McFerrin also lived, in the early 80s. He moved to Minnesota, so seeing him became infrequent He is one of the greatest vocalists of all time. If any of you agree, and if you have watched this whole video, then thumbs up and send this man McFerrin and the fantastic Richard Bona a message. Pax from sfo

I dealt with depression for a long time too. I was just scared. But then I found things I really enjoyed spending time with. Find that thing and keep doing it until you find yourself again.
Oh hell yes!! This is an all-night, listen! As a bass player, I seriously enjoy listenint to the voices of other players, of all styles. Bona is a master player, and an artist of many talents. This pairing, is inspiring!
please correct me if i'm wrong, but what they "sing" is not even in an existing language, but it is as beautiful as latin and as exotic as african languages.... geniuses at work here people
wow! So in the moment,so in tuned I would liked to have been right there to experience this greatness. Thank you. So lovely made me cry in joy! Praise God!
