The thing is, it tells a different story to different people, it tells you a different story with each repetition, it's doesn't say a lot...but it says everything all at the same time.

I remember when this song first came out in 1981. This song was old school R&B classic. They cannot make them like this anymore. The way Bobby Womack sang with so much emotion and heart and soul. When this song is played, not only do you hear it, but you feel it, you feel this song. This is a lost talent.

Actually, I heard Bobby say on an interview that he was in the studio with his friend/producer. The guy got a call from his wife, and she was fussing at him saying I thought we were going out. "You are too busy and never take me out!" The hubby said, "Well look if you think you're are lonely right now -- you just wait until tonight! and slammed the phone down hard. Bobby said WAIT, what did you say? Then wrote the song, lol.
