thanks for the video. i finally set-up my bbcat but for two days i forgot to add the second part of the antenna. i just installed it. do i need to do anything else atthis point/ i am at day 3 sstill syncing but earnings pennies of HNT.

If you’re having more than one miner connected to the same account do the other miners all have to be connected to the wifi also? For example if i know a place out in the boonies where i can plug it in to an outlet does it also have to be connected to the internet? Pls pls answer this

Does the other end of the Ethernet cable plug into my computer or my Comcast gateway? None of the videos I have watched mention how to connect this thing to the internet. Nor do they mention if the app is to be downloaded on a phone or on a PC or Mac. Details matter!

Hey great in depth video. But I have a question will it still be worth it to buy this helium miner, and wait 10+ weeks to receive it, because the coin is already at roughly $46 and does that mean it will be much more competitive since it’s high, and your profits won’t be as much. If you can please explain that to me that will be great. And, I would love to hear your personal opinion whether or not this will still be profitable. Thanks

I just received mine today, bought of Mercari yesterday and made an offer on new one that was $1675 - offer of $1400 excepted and I can let you know how it goes but I suggest if you want to get in now buy brand new for a little more if you can :)

I think, depending on your area, you're out of luck. I'm also out of luck. I bought my miner 6 months ago and it just came in. In the meantime, by city became infested with miners and now there's basically no return. Was entirely expected.

Hi there love the vid just wanted to ask you I did everything that you were saying in the video. I don’t step by step and say that my location is still not recognised when I go onto the site. It says that it is recognised but the machine and the modem, sometimes switches it Bluetooth off itself. Is there any voice that you can give me a pointers thanks

Well if it’s on the ground floor I would say 0 or maybe a couple feet off the ground depending on where you have it

Setting up my Bobcat has been so frustrating, I didn't add the height for the placement on my miner by accident. So it says 0m and I don't think it's even syncing to the Blockchain at all because it doesn't even say syncing on the app like all the videos I've seen setting it up

im on day 5 after set up, im not sure if everything is okay and i should just be waiting? my app color shows yellow, and so far the progress bar is all still pending after 5 days.

Thanks for the very informative video! Just recently I got my miner and it said "DO NOT pair your miner to the app via bluetooth until you've been connected to the internet for at least an hour." Does this mean you'd connect the miner with an ethernet cable, while the light is yellow and wait an hour?

Hey I’m in Miami Florida I’m a nice area I worked my ass offf to get no miners just old people around but I’m confused I see it up then it told me I csn close it and come back I came back and like it was asking me for relocation funds when it wasn’t moved all I did was just exit the app and re open it

HELP PLEASE! In my area there are none people using! All the map is blank(no green or purple cells). The closest is 1 on 25km and the other 3 cells in 45km. What i have to buy extra with Bobcat ? People say i have to buy 3-6 antennas to make my own cell! Any ideas!?!

I would avoid setting up multiple miners in the same location. For the wifi piece, that is why it's important to have unlimited data plans because that is a possible issue with the helium miners.

No the fee to change height and dbi is cheaper. You change it through your helium app👍

I NEED HELP! I Have 3 Bobcat miners setup. All are more than 300 meters apart, all with decent views. I have upgraded the antenna on one of them to a 6dbi since the location is a little worse. I’m only getting about .25 -.5 HNT per day on each miner. Each has about 7 witnesses. My transmit scale is .79 and the other two are .57. Is there anyway to increase the rewards scale and the witness counts without moving the antenna to a different location?

It’s a $10 fee to move the miner itself or the antenna? Cause what if I wanna test antenna locations, but still keep it in the same apartment? I also live in an apartment on the top floor (5th floor), my building is made of bricks

Only if you are in a completely different location, if you move the miner around the apartment you wouldn't have to update the location. As for antenna, I am told you don't have to update in the app if you turn it off, replace, and reboot.

That's right, I fell and bought this garbage, I bought it a year ago and do you know how much it has mined? 1 dollar I have made all the configurations in many ways I have looked at tutorials to find a solution and what you find is that youtubers make it look good that you earn money but the reality is not that, because companies pay you for advertising do not fall into the clutches of these scammers and contacting these bobcat scammers is a waste of time, I can only say that this garbage is useless. I feel cheated.

Every time I get to the Confirm Location section I receive an error saying my miner is still waiting to start, I've waited 24 hours + and it still says that so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hey there, I just wanna actually ask you a quick question I know when your video says that you can have other people in the area doing the same helium miner. However if you other people have been saying that it’s the best advise not to be doing that to settle up in a way outside of the area. Is that good or is that just BS

So we just followed your amazing video (so straightforward) but when I opted to sync it gave me an error and resorted to the add hotspot screen. I haven’t troubleshooted it yet, I will now, but any ideas? TIA :)

I see that you’re relayed, you need to open port 44158 via port forwarding on your WiFi network in order to stop that

You need to go onto your router and do set up port forwarding for your miner device. If you Google port forwarding for helium miner you’ll get a lot of helpful resources as lots of people have dealt with the issue

I just received my bobcat miner and when I try to add it to my phone with Bluetooth it’s not working. My phone find it when the scan finish. Then i click on it but at the end I have this: Error Operation timed out. The light is still blue. The latest version of the helium app I have is 3.4.7 on Android phone. Need help…

so it automatically connects to a LoRa network then? Or does it use the ethernet/wifi to send data? How much tough i have only 200GB data limit on my home connection. How do i know if this works in my country Belgium?

You need to connect it to wifi/Ethernet and then it will work with the Lora network. I’m not sure how much exact data it uses, but yeah that’s a watch out for those without unlimited plans

Is paid $400 for mine… but I had to wait 5.5 months for it to arrive! $700 isn’t too bad imo with the price of HNT what it is right now. If you’re in a decent spot you could make that back in a month easily.

Iv seen them up to 1400 new unopened on Amazon. But you have to watch buying used ones as if they have been already set up they are only accessible to the person that set up originally. Unless they do something to release it.

Just plugged my miner in for the first time and connected it to my router via Ethernet. The light is regularly changing from green to yellow. Is this normal?

It may be updating the firmware, it is normal if it lasts for an hour but if it last days then something may be wrong
