As by today's standards, Boccherini was no millionaire, in fact, he died in poverty. But his legacy far exceeds any rich man in history. Let this fine performance do the speaking. As for me, I am blessed that Luigi Boccherini walked on this planet.
I find it a bit sad that people usually remember and care more about the third movement than the others. I think the four movements are so equally beautiful. (I mean, not trying to be a hipster, just literally it is way harder to find good performances of the other movements as there are simply much less performances of them overall)
