Initially I didn't plan on watching the show when the first episodes came out thinking "Wow another K-On!", but then week after week it was at the top of the charts and I eventually broke and I think a lot of people were in the same boat since the initial premise of the show seemed so mundane when in fact the show was anything but mundane. As a side note, an interesting little tid bit that I don't think a lot of people know about the bocchi glitch scream that we all know and love is that it is mostly unedited. The sound director initially wanted a regular scream that the staff would then make sound "electronic" but then the voice actress (Aoyama Yoshino) came out with that scream and the director was so impressed they decided to keep it as is. I do hope she gets more roles in the future since she's quite a small voice actress for how talented she is.
If the 2 videos I have watched so far being highly entertaining somehow wasn't enough for a sub, the apparent consistent cultured use of Xenoblade Music in the backgrounds pushed it over the edge for me. 👍👍
