Body cam footage of Shelburne police officer shoving teen 

The poster of this video really should change the title. This officer showed great restraint. That is difficult to do for most people after being spit on. After the officer was spit on, he most definitely didn’t shove the teen. The officer told the teen that their action is assaulting a police officer, and then he shut the door. He didn’t even move toward the disrespectful punk kid. I really hope that this teen was charged with auto theft, disorderly conduct, and assaulting a police over. This punk NEEDS a life lesson in respect. I feel sorry for it’s parents.

There was NO shoving on body camera. This must be an upload from a disgruntled family member, or boyfriend, or the actual teen.

I'm not the biggest fan of police but I think this cop has held a great deal of restraint. Or I completely missed what he did.

The teen, had to go to jail because the cop assumed the teen couldn't go home? Then call a relative, or friend's parents to take the teen in.

Often critical of the police because we see so many abuses every day but I don’t see anything in this video that was out of line other than the young lady’s actions.

When your a (NO) person while being questioned by police for a possible infraction that's a clue . Thus meaning a suspect being uncooperative combative and disrespectful. Well your probably not going to get a teddy bear and a doughnut. Just saying.

So, on a cloudy, rainy day he drives off leaving the car unattended with driver's window completely down? He should have left a sign on it saying, "Please steal stuff" as well. He went back and got the phone and the keys; he could have taken the time to put the window up. But since it isn't his car, he doesn't care if the victim's car interior gets ruined or if stuff gets stolen out of it.

So the punk beat his mother and stole her car, the kid gloves come off.

The thing is, she has the right to roll up the window. There's no law that says you have to lower it. However the cop can have you exited the car, but you can roll up the window and lock the car. That's perfectly legal to do
