I have seen videos of rabies patients, and they usually lie and stare while shaking and foaming around the mouth a lot, and if they try to drink water then they always spit it out quite violently. It is pretty much the closest that a human can come to being a zombie.

I don't know how to perfectly describe that, but I'll try. It feels like rabies joke previous time was somewhat a punchline, that like they wanted cool werewolf superpoweres, but got rabies instead. This time the whole episode works around the joke that Beavis got rabies. Theme is the same, but the delivery is different. Nontheless, it's even funnier the second time

Once you start showing symptoms it's already too late. Rabies is no joke, if you get bit by any mammal you should get checked. Catching it before it can spread is your only real chance.

He never had rabies for real. He was just bitten by a super aggressive dog and Butthead just had Beavis take some breath mints, making it look like he was foaming in the mouth, and played with the wound by poking it and pouring some energy drinks on it. The doctor who gave Beavis 18 shots in the stomach. And a program on TV said that he just had to have 5 vaccine shots in the arm. And when they asked why the doctor didn't know that, it shows the doctor laughing, indicating that he was insane or pure evil.
