He really gets into the theology. Like in King of the Hill, when Bobby asks what Methodism is, Peggy says it's a rejection of Calvinism, Bobby asks what Calvinism is, and Peggy says she doesn't know.
If Mike Judge would do a follow up episode to this Beavis should visit: An LDS stake and have an awkward conversation with a Bishop or Stake President about this subject. An old school Southern Baptist or Independent Baptist church Pastor, but I think Reverend Cobb filled that role in the original series. An Eastern Orthodox priest who is just as big a lore nerd as the Rabbi here. And finally, a really hippie-ish non-denominational church pastor that would make Mr. Van Driessen look tame!
As far as hippie-ish churches go, if Beavis & Butthead were in Arlen, Texas ( _King Of The Hill_ ), I would recommend that church where some guy was playing guitar and singing “Day By Day” in the Church Hopping episode.
I think Beavis just works well on his own, and he's more interesting because he acts differently without butthead. Butthead is just kind of butthead all the time

I found it rather humorous that Beavis' first thought when he walked up to the synagogue was "that's a cool logo". I didn't expect Beavis to know what a logo even is, lol.
All religions are basically fandoms of mythology, with some as full-blown franchises. Religious people are nerds who take their fandom WAY TOO SERIOUSLY; particularly the nerds of the Abrahamic extended universe.
That is a pretty heavy one. The Towers, Zero-Sum, CHIM, the fact that moons and planets and space are just the way mortal minds comprehend Aedra and Oblivion itself.
i love how Beavis is also getting tired on hearing the whole Iron Man story as if u should watch every mcu movie ever made and its already tiring for him 😂😂😂
These guys are as much nerds about religion as Beavis is a nerd about scoring. That's what's freaking Beavis out. Of course to hammer it home the last guy is a marvel nerd. I like this.
