The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the discovery of a body inside a 55-gallon drum at Malibu Lagoon on Monday. July 31, 2023. (KTLA) KTLA 5 News - Keeping Southern Californians informed since 1947.
That man got the woman from El Salvador pregnant and he killed her and put her in the drum with chemicals from the "plastic plant" manufacturing. He put it in the crawl space under his house and then moved away. The next owner found it and the police tracked him down to Florida where they questioned him. He killed himself after being questioned. Then they found her neighbor from her address book and she was still there with the same land line phone number 30 years later! Great episode, when I saw body in barrel in Malibu, body in barrel in Lake Mead I always think Forensic Files!

That's a unique barrel and the locking ring. Its going to have a batch number for quality control. It they left it out just like that then chances are they didn't remove the batch number.
There's no way they drove up and just dropped it off there, since they'd probably leave tire or general track marks behind. It is more likely they dumped it into the upstream creek somewhere. Also, it may have been found laying on its side and we are just seeing if after being propped up. As for the the barrel, it looks relatively new, and so does the ring; but those things are a dime a dozen and could easy have been stolen from anywhere.
@samuraiman7777 The hired one neglected to consider that the gases from the decomposing body would eventually fill that air-tight barrel and make it buoyant. Should've drilled holes in the barrel to displace air with sea water and threw in a few large rocks for good measure.
This is some cartel work right here or possibly cartel work where theh make you ina pozele or menudo aka Beef or Pork Stew in that barrel filled with acid. But human stew !? 😮 Thats so crazy and scary. Also very saddening for their familys and loved ones
