I've seen Martin train for quite some time, and I can tell that his style just screams Hosstile. Not just the training aspect, but the mindset and the "sacrifice without regret " attitude that just goes all in. A good addition to the team. Happy for my guy.
Fuck yeah !!! Martin with Hostile is amazing and I’m super happy for both him and the brand ! Great show and I can’t wait to see James on stage as he is looking freaky as fuck !
Dr. Mike is also the guy that says steroids make him want to actually physically hurt people and they drive him to “unspeakable” things. So if that is your experience and you still show up on stage like he does, every time. Then yes, I agree with James. Bodybuilding is not for everyone. 😅😅😅. I’m been running shit for 15yrs off and on and am surrounded by people that do and I have NEVER heard anyone explain they go through the thought process Dr. Mike does. I think a lot of it is like Rich Piana, it’s just sensationalism to the highest.
really really hope Martin is happy at hostile and stays there because i like him a lot, don't want a repeat of him getting more popularity because of the brand and podcast then dip and join someone else. either way congrats Fouad and Martin.
I was thinking not long ago how in the hell as Martin gone unsponsored since Axe and Sledge, especially after the year he has had…..and boom!!!! Hell yeah, congrats to everyone
Chow looked nervous listening to Fitz’s progress 🫣 Cannot wait to see Martin’s package (+ he seems like such a nice and humble bloke which adds to his likability) 👏
This is why guys like John Jewett and Andrew Jacked are going to do so well, their structure and symmetry, shape is what the new trend is. We’re going back to the 90’s… Structure matters it’s not just about being a myostatin deficient cow on stage
Thank you for mentioning blood work with nutrition. I or my coach at the time never took in consideration why I wasn’t digesting food properly. After finding out my blood type is AB+, now I realize why I was getting bloated after eating certain foods.
I am a big Fouad fan, and congrats to Martin The Martian! I also love the respect Fouad show for everybody. And i have a prophecy - that one day, it might be many years - but Nick Walker will be back in the Hosstile family..
Fouad, you remind me a lot of my father. obsessed with motorcycles, tried 20,000 diets (he’s just fat though), pretty funny, beard. only difference is you support body builders and you seem a LOT nicer! you give off cool dad vibes js
When talking about fans turning on you once you begin winning, In Australia, it’s known as tall poppy syndrome. Tall Poppy Syndrome is when people who have achieved too much success are cut down by others. They may genuinely deserve their success, but it makes other people feel like they have overachieved, so they try to cut the tall poppy down
Steve Reeves made the same argument as James in an interview, he said something along the lines that if someone has to take exogenous hormones, they shouldn’t bodybuild, they should do something else.
Congrats to you guys and Martin. Also no shade to Dr Mike but the whole Ozempic thing the eating protein bars and so on and he’s yet to come into a show in shape. There’s something to be said for good ol fashioned dieting and cardio. It’s just another chemical in something that’s already a plethora of stuff.
On the judging thing. One thing that is never brought up and what I think is the most significant, the highest and lowest score are thrown out and it’s an average. That gets rid of any bias
I have gastroparesis as a result of damage done because of an autoimmune disease, not because of ozempic usage or anything. There are days where I physically cannot keep down water because my stomach won’t allow me to and I end up needing to go to the hospital for IV fluids to stay hydrated. I understand the use of GLP-1 meds for people who are severely overweight and the benefits of helping this person lose weight outweigh the potential risks associated with the medication. What I do NOT understand is accepting the risk of potentially causing permanent gastroparesis even after coming off the medication because you can’t handle hunger during contest prep. I understand that the hunger is worse for some people than others. Like everything else in bodybuilding, genetics matters. And if you’re someone who has higher hunger signaling during prep because genetics hate you, that sucks but you deal with it. I have never used a GLP-1 medication, but I have gone through multiple bodybuilding preps (prior to being dx with GP). In my opinion risking your long term digestive health and quality of life for a short term contest prep aid that isn’t necessary to get shredded, is absolutely not worth it.
I have to be honest, I did not see Martin coming in like this. He’s really built up his physique past 2-3 years it’s been a combination of things but I do see now that he has Phil heath potential but not a 7 year stretch
Are there not documented cases of ozempic making you catabolic and weakening the heart? To my knowledge when they did studies it was mainly getting people to lose weight by them losing lean body mass and not fat?
"Apple seeds contain amygdalin, a compound that contains cyanide, but they are unlikely to be poisonous unless the seeds are crushed or chewed " yea u havent picked me yet =[ not landed yet
This comment is for the haters out there that keep on hating and talking out their a$$ about HOSSTILE and Fouad. Since you guys wana label Fouad the bad guy just take a second and think Brett parted ways if Fouad was that horrible or such a bad guy why in the world would Martin sign with HOSSTILE? Keep in mind Martin and Brett are best of buds use your brains
I honestly see Martin Top 6. I think nick is gonna get pushed down depending how Andrew comes in. I think mo fouda is the dark horse. He could be right in there too in my opinion top 10. I like hunter but his midsection and nicks short legs long torso might turn into a bigger issue than expected.
First he’s from the UK so they don’t really follow football there. Second he doesn’t watch a lot of sports in general or tv. He only follows combat sports from what I know.
Fouad why is shape becoming so important when it’s most noticeable from the front and can be hidden from the side and back where as muscularity and conditioning is evident in front l, side, back
Now guys are saying that because Nick Walker is hiding his physique it’s a sign he’s not gonna come it at his best I don’t get what that has to do with it, maybe he’s gonna be so good he shocks everyone
1:15:30 I could not agree more. The normies hyping up Andrew have not picked up on this. Andrew needs a lot more time between comps. I remember last Olympia he was suffering BAD.
I don’t think it’s about the cycle it’s about this need for quick gratification by people trying to emulate the look of a Martin or Chris B . When putting in the work in the gym or diet gets too hard they look for a short cut to strength and size regardless of the long term risk. And when test isn’t working they think well I heard tren works or whatever so let me add that and so on.
wow, I thought guys were actually doing gear based on blood work already, I sound dumb don't I, imagine playing Russian roulette with your health even dumber
Everytime someone says nick’s physique isn’t beautiful is delusional to me. Nick’s physique is the pinnacle of bodybuilding. Nick’s physique is absolutely beautiful….
Bodybuilding is not supposed to b easy people trying to look for the easy way dieting for a show is not supposed to b easy if u want to do something great u need to suffer
When will anyone, ever, say why Hunter is so highly rated? To me he looks awful, ruined pec, blocky... I have no expertise though so I would like someone to actually say why he is rated. They all just say Hunter is awesome but not one person says why and not one person criticises his awful awful awful pec tear, it looks like he has a tennis ball in his pec.
Ok his pec tear looks like shit and his abs aren’t perfect. I also stated that he wasn’t perfectly balanced. What else should you like us to say? Everyone has flaws, it doesn’t mean they can’t be great in other ways.
@@FouadAbiad it’s not a dig fouad, I just want to understand what makes him rated high? Is it condition, is it just balance, is it size, is some of it surname. When I look at a line up Andrew flows better, nick is conditioned hard, Derek is full as a house, Hadi is balanced. All podcasts praise hunter highly, I’d like to understand why and it seems a lot of other less knowledgeable people would also benefit from you and the panels expertise to explain why he’s often placed in the Olympia top 6 in predictions. I would say Dorian got a lot of hate for his muscle tears, Hadi for his shoulders, Derek for his lats, ramy for his leg dent etc
@@ashta1989 I knew you weren’t taking a dig I was just expressing that we have covered his flaws. His strong points are his legs, arms, shoulders, his overall balance is pretty good, his abs aren’t great but he has a smaller waist for a guy that size. And the name of the game primarily is his is outsizing guys with all those attributes.
