When I was 17, I was pulled over on the highway going 130 in a 60, and the cop let me walk, giving me a ticket for only going 80mph instead. I was a dumb teen, super lucky
Yeah I had a cop in Atlanta pull me for going over a hundred and let me walk. He could have reduced the speed and let him go. Pay the ticket and stuff later. It is at the cops discretion.
Lucky ass,when i was 18 a cop pulled me over doing 65 in a 45 and the ticket was $400. This was after me begging too that i just got off of a 10 hour shift and wanted to go home (im mexican brown if that matters to anyone)

I have to admit, respectfully, the fact that he didn't come at the cop with "Do you know who I am" mentality. He humbled himself. As for the cop, We need more cops like this. One who actually listens and one who doesn't abuse their authority and go on a crazy power trip.
What makes you think there isn't a lot like him...because of the few cases a year you see in the news? I got pulled over by the PA State police 2 weeks before Christmas for my registration being expired, the officer didn't even ask for my license or insurance. Just wanted to let me know it was expired and said I'll make you a deal, take the money you would've spent on the fine and use it to buy someone a present instead and then left.

There’s almost no highways in the US with 70mph speed limit which is basically the speed where everyone cruises on highways . This officer saved Carti from a potential fatal crash whether it’s Playboi Carti or another victim on that road. Nobody wants anyone to cop a fine or go to jail but if these laws aren’t enforced correctly then fatality would be inevitable every single time.
