It's hard to put into words how hard it is to snap out of a sns dump the fact that he shook off the tunnel vision and made a calm rational decision to utilize a his backup and his taser and just pursue was the best option since he didn't seem to be armed. and even in the end of the clip they decided to go hands on and only used what force they had to in order to gain compliance. These officers did a fine job there's a reason why this isn't breaking news because there's no controversy. Amazing work guys cudoos to the officers out there doing law enforcement the right way and taking back some credibility with all the bad publicity out there.

Todo lo contrario existe hoy en día falta de amor por su semejante y egoísmo en todo los niveles de poder.😢

Yes they indeed did they’re job. Only reason this guy didn’t get taken in a stretcher or body bag was because 2 things. He dropped his knife while being tazed, and the officer missed thos 2 shots. I wonder how that lady would of felt if she knew the entirety of the story.

@chris t I am not an expert nore did I claim to be, i didn't say it was warning shots I simply asked the question. I am British and have seen police officers disarm a man with a machete without lethal force infact without serious force at all, there was zero intention of shooting him because it was clearly a mental health issue. The American police have historically been taught to put their safety above the public or the suspects, this needs to change because it could be your elderly relative with dementia acting aggressively or refusing to comply. In the UK we police by consent and lethal force is shunned and considered an extreme last resort. In America its considered safe pratice to shoot first.

@@ltx383 No I don't think that, i just asked the question because if you watch the video the officer makes 2 shots and misses from 3 meters away and then stops shooting despite having several more seconds to make a clear shot. I don't think that officer missed at that range. I think he didn't want to shoot the guy in the back when the suspect didn't have a gun, so he made two shot that deliberately missed. If he had intent he would have kept shooting.

They'd have full reason to. If someone was pointing a gun or what I believed to be a gun at me the situation turned into a me or them situation and chances are I'd choose myself.

I ran once and got away. I didn't do anything though. Lol We got invited to a house by two girls. Someone called the cops, and that's when they said we weren't supposed to be there. Apparently someone was out of town, and they broke in and were staying there. I had no idea. I took off running, and cars chased me. I ran to a buddy's house three blocks away, and stayed there.
