Because it's mocking current games. The mission has a briefing, you know those briefings we get in COD games that pretend/tries to give some pretexts for the mission, but he just passes it because he doesn't care and it doesn't matter. It's a stealth mission but he can just do it like "always". The sniper just charges in by using the snipe like a shotgun because why not? He has to hack a computer... but it doesn't make any sense for it to be there. The hacking mechanics is just keeping a button pressed, he doesn't even retrieve anything, he just hack and leave. It's all to make fun of how stealth games are nowadays :).

That's the joke, they apply videogames to real life, AI snipers are terrible. Skip,skip,skip,skip the briefing. That was supposed to be a stealth mission and all enemies have the same clothes aside from different classes. Then you find a laptop or a pc where it shouldn't be and you must press 1 button to hack a super mainframe to stop terrorists.

yeah Rocketjump has quite a few airsoft G36's lying around.
