I'm loving this series. at first I thought that body was going to be to overwhelming for me but now I think I can handle it. I'm new to Gaming on PC let alone moding them. I built my outfit in bodyslide and got it into Vortex as per instructed. But how do I get it into the game? Is there a console command or something? I was thinking I would be able to assign it to my follower. What am I missing please help.
Glad this series is helping you! You can craft it (if the outfit is set up to be crafted), you can use the console to add it to your inventory, or you can use a mod that basically does the same thing as the console (such as AddItemMenu on Nexus). I use the console, although it might not be quite as easy as using AddItem. If you want to see an example of how to get it via the console, you can check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bxrZUMjbCes.htmlsi=s1C54bqNyR86BDjs If you want your follower to wear it, you can just give it to them (and that sometimes works, if they think it is 'better' than what they currently use). Or you can force them to wear it using a console command - Google is probably your friend here since I'm less familiar with that. If you use a follower framework or your follower has wardrobe capability, then you can also do it that way. I hope this helps! 😊
You don't really "move the arms" - but I assume you mean your outfit does not cover the arms and there are no actual arms, so you just have an invisible part where they are supposed to be? If this is the case, then you'll have to add the body underneath the outfit. I'd suggest checking out my Outfit Studio playlist to see which of these videos might be helpful to you: ru-vid.com/group/PLrGqMZcWJgElCxyW6GnIlt9HAeeSFlkDI&si=-HZH4RCzxv9fCNkl
If you want to import a NIF into Blender, you have a few options. You can use PyNifly or NifTools, but those only work with older versions of Blender. Or you can use Outfit Studio to convert NIFs to OBJ or FBX files, and import those directly into Blender. My personal preference is to just work in OBJ or FBX and use the current Blender - but many people prefer the other way!
Not me - but you can do it yourself if you have the outfit! You can use Nif Optimizer to convert back from SSE to LE. Google should help you, if you need some tips on how to do that. You may also have to convert the plugin back to form 43. A quick search on "convert plugin from sse to le skyrim" turned up lots of things that look helpful! 😎
