I want to thank you for your videos and your effort to have this understandable for beginners, I'm one of those. I've been playing Skyrim SE for two years now but have only attempted to get started with BodySlide and Outfit Studio a couple of brief times. I quickly gave up. I've watched hours of videos aimed at beginners and tried to follow along, but they all missed steps showing things, or where to find them. I think the authors of those videos don't realize some people actually have zero previous experience. I am very skilled in my occupation and occasionally have had to teach someone new, I have to remind myself they may have no idea of what or where something is that I take for granted. Perhaps you have had teaching experience, maybe not, but you are excellent. Thanks to you and your videos I believe I will be able to learn about these two programs. Kudos to you, along with the likes and subscribing I've done. If you get some free time, you might consider making Training Tutorials on how to make Videos for Beginners! (I'm sure you are busy enoughas it is). Keep up the good work. Thanks again.

Thank you for this amazing comment! I am very honored by these kinds words, and I'm also thrilled that my content is meeting the needs of beginners - that's what I had hoped for! I do not have any training in how to teach, but I try to remember all the things that frustrated and confused me when I was trying to learn. And then I try to address those things in the videos. I also spend a lot of time thinking about what to say, scripting it out (and then editing it a bunch more), and testing the process multiple times (with further tweaking as needed) until I feel that the workflow is straightforward for those with no experience whatsoever. On top of that, I read a lot of posts online and on discord; and I try to incorporate content that answers the questions I see people asking. If one person has had the question, you can almost guarantee that others will have it too! So...it's a process to create these tutorials. It's something that I enjoy, so I'm not complaining, lol. But it does mean that I cannot push out content quickly. And it means my videos are long and fairly detailed, which I know is a turnoff for some viewers. But I'm going to keep on as I've been doing since it seems to be working for most people! 😄🫶

I found your channel by chance when I was looking up Outfit Studio. I saw a twitch streamer working on Skywind using it and I wanted to know more. I just want to say that what you're doing is so useful and this knowledge is very valuable. Your videos are charming and packed full of information. Thanks for doing this!

2:02 says we should use the Data folder when using Vortex but in the previous video of the series (BodySlide 8) we created a folder inside the staging folder and put that in Output path which one to do?

It’s really up to you. Either one is valid and works, if done properly. But for people who are not very expert in how Vortex works, you may want to just let it go to the Data folder. That is the easiest thing to do, especially if you don’t care about keeping things separated.

Not sure if the mod responds the same with Fallout 4, but I have an issue where I batch the builds and then all NPCs have the same body. If you could provide any insight on this, it would be much appreciated.

All NPCs of the same sex use the same body (with only some variation if they have different body weight/scaling); so whatever body you build will be applied to them all. For FO4, there is only one body file, so presumably you only have one set of sliders in BodySlide as well. I may be misunderstanding your question - so please let me know if this did not help! 😊

@@ciraeyna-mom it gives me a basic understanding. Do you know, by chance, if there is a way to apply the body just to the playable character and keep the NPCs with vanilla bodies for FO4?

@@cristianescandon8416 you can use a unique player race mod, there should be one for FO4 I imagine? I’m sorry I don’t have any experience on FO4, so I can’t be more specific!
