Zin, Oh my word, I'd happily watch totally dead air, if it was in the aid of moving the build along 🙂. On a more serious note, you may wish to consider taping some sort of protective foam around the landing gear struts to protect them from accidental breakage.
Dear Tron, You are of course correct on the matter of the landing gear- I will be carful in the meantime! My continued predilection for prevarication however may make me a figure of fun! Thanks for writing again! Regards, Z
Dear William, Thanks very much- the music overdub seems to be littered with traps of all kinds, so I don’t go there! Mind you, I offered some royalty free music a couple of videos back!! Regards, Z
Dear Scotty, “Shithooks” it is then!! Please forgive my most lamentable ignorance! I hear them flying over here from time to time- they do sound most distinctive though don’t they? Thanks for tuning in! Regards, Z
Taken shape Zinzan I have that kit I'm thinking that glass front is going to be fun to install spilling glue been there done that lol enjoy your Sunday 👍👍
Dear Seamus, You're right - my initial looks show that there are gaps that will need dealing with amongst other things- I will. video that bit!! Regards, Z
Good work zin ol'boy, keep it up, we enjoy seeing your work. I did have a query however, I am curious as to why you have the letter T written on top of your paint?
Dear Chris, Thanks very much- I’m always pleased if what I do is entertaining, helpful, or any combination of those two!! The T is telling me that the paint within is thinned- I use levelling thinner whether brushing or airbrushing. I thought it might be a good idea! Thanks for writing in- it is much appreciated! Regards, Z
Dear Paul, Thanks very much- it’s been uneventful so far so I’ll keep going until something catastrophically bad occurs or I finish the thing!! Which ever comes first… Regards, Z
Mr Zin Nice progress ,just started the same kit my wife wants me to build it , just completed the cockpit and painted and decaled the rear cabin I noticed the mistake in the decal call-out 🤔as for knocking over TET ….done that a few times and I’ve even got a holder for it😂😂😂😂 looking forward to your next video sir .
Nice, the Chinook is such a neat looking heli and pretty iconic. I’ve just started a B-17F build and it is taking up my spare time but I’ll look in on your Chinook project every now and then, Zin. 😊
Dear Ronald, There seems to be interest in the B17 these days- what scale are you doing? I noted some 1/32 variants about, but I suspect that they would be on the large side! Plastic Monkey did a 1/48 recently which was good- he suspended his from the ceiling! Regards, Z
@@ZinzanModelling Hi there Zin. I’m building the Revell 1/72 B-17F kit but not as the Memphis Belle. It is part of a group build organised by Jase over at Model Kit Stuff and in conjunction with my watching of the Masters of the Air series. I definitely want to build a 1/32 or 1/35 scale B-17 at some point but I’m starting with a 1/72 model to practise the skills demonstrated on various RU-vid channels, including MKS, yours, and Nigel at his Modelling Bench. 🤞🏻☺️ Since Masters of the Air aired, there are a lot of B-17 kits being bought and built. 😀 I have the old Monogram 1/48 kit in the stash and it still looks nice despite its age. No idea how I’ll display the bigger models though.
@@ZinzanModelling I will cross that bridge when I get to it, Zin. 😁 Hanging it from the ceiling is out of the question for me though, where I am it would get unbelievably dusty in a week. 🤧
