This episode we visit Noosa Heads, take the Noosa North Shore Ferry across to Teewah Beach where we test Wendy's anxiety and the visit Kenilworth for some delicious snacks.
Well done Legends on your vids. Lucky that tide didn't come in too quick, Wendy would have flipped right out! Right, fill us in with Wendy's accent. Loving your adventures.
Wow I am so jealous- I am considering doing this full time- my wife and I have had so much stuff happen to us with family losses with covid and cancer. It’s only hitting us now.
If they're LT tyre construction 20 would be fine and 15 quite acceptable. 60kmh when towing is also fine on a good beach until it isn't. Lower pressures and lower speed is a better solution. It would take 4 extra minutes to do 20km at 50kmh but give you more time to stop for the unexpected as well as keeping tyre temperature down. Your Zone is a top setup, certainly the best of the big vans for beach work.
Hey Jim, just a bit of advice, I would cut down or remove the front mudflaps as they will wear through the stone stomper eventually if they remain in contact with it.
Wendy needs to learn how to drive a 4x4 towing a van on the beach and anywhere else in fact . What would you do if hubby couldn't drive for some reason? Also that might stop you from freaking out in the passenger seat. Doesn't the fridge have a lock for travelling?
@@mrjimwrongwaywend I'm not just making an idle comment, she really does need to be able to get you guy out of a not so good situation if it arises. Just an element of safe travels
Mr Jim can you please give me the measurement of your stone stomper where it joins to the caravan going under the drawbar and perhaps a pic of where it’s attached to the van Getting our Sojourn in a couple of months and would like to order ours Thanks mate
