Just occasionally I'd like to see a win thrown in. Someone that knows what they're doing. Towing their boat or van, with their 1980 troopy or landrover and just crawls on through without a hassle in the world. Just to show these mongs how it's done.
Go hard or go home . . I'm not kidding , 38 years bush NT we never never ever fucked around with tyre pressure . . to hot for that shit . . just pedal to tha metal . . we ALWAYS got home safe & sound . . through mud & madness & endless sandy beachs with two wheel drive & no winch's most . . just look ahead & foot to the floor
That cruiser at 8:40 reversed back S L O W L Y and was on top of the sand with no effort. The guys are saying "watch your wheelspin" and "don't floor it" but what does he do? He floors it and digs himself in before he's even moving. It is easier for the wheels to move the loose sand that they are sitting on and dig themselves in than it is to move 2500+kg of vehicle sitting at standstill.
I am not a young man but I have to admit this is the first time I have ever seen, what we call in Canada, "mud flaps" on the front bumper of a vehicle.
The easiest and best way in the sand is to make the (tire pressure PSi) 15PSI, and the car will run easily and without damage to the engine and gearbox, in the long run.
Thanks for sharing from the other side of the earth. Love these videos, we have what we call sugar sand in Florida- similar in size to grains of sugar. Is the sand you are dealing with here similar or finer than sugar?
Not really, most of these guys don't know how to drive on sand. 12psi and a steady foot is all you need. If there's a little wave of sand infront of your tyres they're too hard.
that's my question everyone here is really getting stuck just cuz of tire pressure and heavy feet? I would think everyone would air down before trying such a sandy uphill
I’m not Australian, so I don’t know that area. I believe people don’t want to air down too much because either they don’t have a compressor in their vehicle, or is it that the service station with air is a bit far when they get on tarmac. Or is it that they’re too lazy to lower down tyre pressures.
I'm not a 4wd guy so maybe I don't understand, but I don't see this being fun in any way. I like the vids of it but having to do that every holiday, doesn't seem like a holiday
Maxtrax should probably start paying you for your videos. They probably use it in stores for advertising. " Maxtrax, if you have some of these, you never have to let your tyres down. You will struggle like hell, but at least you dont have to worry about tyre pressure." 8:00 And for severe situations the winning combo is two green ons, a pink one and two green ones again.
@@LCaddyStudios just drop some more air, but do it before you get stuck, unlike these idiots. Won't need any tracks, about 12psi and low range, 2nd or 3rd gear and you'll be sweet. Always winds me up a bit watching these vids 😆
Worst part is that some of the ropes you use have limited uses on them and there is so many idiots you would bankrupt your self helping. Well the ropes I use
@@straddie.online1379 That makes sense. I might give it a crack when I'm there in a few weeks. Might chuck it up on RU-vid too, only if I make it though 😄
It's taken out of a older video we wanted to see how many people have seen it. As well as exploring the new YT shorts ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7orVuXn-EE0.html
Few people go through wheel spinning and churning the track and just fuck it for the next 500 cars or until someone churns it again. Used to go through here at walking speed in a gutless 60 10 years ago now you need something with herbs. My mom drove a 95 v6 pajero through there on her first trip sand driving.
i dont get it,... i as planning on going sand driving and was told like a thousand times to air down, yet these guys go to fraser with tires inflated for the highway
arhhhh good to see the NFI drivers are back for another NFI VIDEO OF SAND DRIVING LOL LOL LOL.. I HAVE MAX TRAX...IF I CANT GET THROUGH THEN IT MUST BE THE SAND NOT MY 4WD ABILITY
