I just discovered they are now offering a new "Airtex Armored Adventure Jacket" which also has armor in the chest area. The chest armor comes in a one piece or two piece configuration. I need to call them to see how the one piece works in conjunction with the zipper. Then I plan on buying it. I must say their customer service is superb. I'm tall and thin and they worked with me over the phone for some time to get the right fit. In the end they insisted on sending two sizes on their dime so I would be satisfied. That's how you earn a customer for life.
Absolutely 💯 agree!! Wear my Airtex all the time... Just love it and the protection it offers! We wore these last year in the desert 105+ degrees...felt wonderful with evaporative cooling vest underneath 🤗💜.
