A few tips for you. Get yourself a good mastic gun you can get more in them and you wont have the problem with your filler catching on your gun when pulling the spring back. Put your mix in cling film this will stop it for drying. Also you shouldn't have to put oil on your base mix or the table if you get your mix right. Hope this will help you.

Keep adding base mix when you are working/kneading the mix... But when I say add do not add a lot, just sprinkle over the top and then work that it.. Repeat the process u till the paste is no longer sticky.
Ryan Pryce you need to make sure you are folding and rolling just like you would when you knead bread dough.. make sure the dry base mix is sprinkled on th top and then folded and rolled into the middle of the mix
