Nice shave and a beautiful razor! I like wide straight razors but for me often they are too long. this boker looks shorter compared to most 8/8 razors. What is the length of the cutting edge part of this razor?
Hi Alon, it's a little of an optical illusion as it's a large deep blade, in total its a 3inch blade , but the active edge is only 2.5 inch , due to quite a curvy heel . Can't go far wrong with any Boker as long as the factory didn't over stone the edge , which sadly they are prone to do on occasion, never trust a factory edge 😉.
@@Martins-Shaves123 2.5 inch is 63.5 mm this is the perfect length for me (I prefer 65mm or less). if it is that short I'll probably order one, I like the heel shape but I didn't think that it is 0.5 inch length... I have two bokers that the factory edge didn't cut at all but after I sharpend them they became a great shavers. It's strange but I noticed that straight razors from the more expensive models sometimes arrive with a bevel set but not fully sharpend.
