Böker's certainly a looker (In English it almost rhymes). I should think that if it were REAL mother of pearl it might not have been cheap. Sometimes you just can't win... But a self-honed razor and a slow comfortable shave IS a win-win.
Nice looking razor. As long as the price wasn't $et for Mother of Pearl but rather to plastic....it doesn't matter. I have a TI that is plastic and I think they were going for the fake horn look?
Great shave! There's an odd feeling of satisfaction that comes from expecting that a razor will shave well when you finish honing it, and then have it shave as well, or better, than you think it will. I believe you will find that your predictions will get better and that your confidence will grow. Congrats! Today, my plan is to get all chores out of the way so I can stream the Bahrain GP this evening with a cigar and a drink.
Après avoir vu cette vidéo je suis allé voir mes Boker, j'en ai 4 dont le Mother of pearl. Ils sont neuf mais pas "ready to shave" j'ai donc refait le fil a chaque fois avec finition sur Japonaise et bout Koma. La pointe de la lame du mother m'a légèrement coupé sur 2cm...j'ai donc cassé les pointes de ces rasoirs. C'est un jolie rasoir ! Mais je préfère personnellement les pointes ronde, moins vicieuses 😊.
