Thorne had already asked you to marry him before Ridge wrote that letter and you said yes and was excited about it and In love with Thorne. Stop making excuses Carolyn. Thorne really doesn’t deserve being treated like your treating him.
Thorne asked her to marry him but she asked for time to think about, and during that time the letter arrived. If she read it, maybe she would've taken more time or not and during that vulnerable time she relied on her bestfriend's advice who literally laid out all the good things that Thorne offered her and ignored once again the letter pushing her to go and say yes to the proposal, they robbed her of her decision.
Yes because she wasn’t in her right mind. Do people not really watch this soap? Caroline was so manipulated into it by Brooke and Thorne before the letter.
I LOVE TO BINGE WATCH JUST CHOOSE A YEAR🤗 AND WHAT PART OF THE SEASON OR THE WHOLE SEASON PLUS LOVE TO LET IT PLAY OVERNIGHT ON PLAYLIST! FYI I'M A LOYAL DAY 1 FAN🤗🤗🤗MARCH 23,1987!💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
This really is the beginning of the end for Thorne. At this point Caroline is starting to re-evaluate how she was rushed to the alter and seeing Thorne in a new light. He wasnt a saviour, just and opportunist like Brooke.
OK, Caroline, now you need to tell Thorn that just before the wedding, YOU asked Brooke to call Ridge to discuss the letter, and YOU told Ridge to his face that you loved Thorn and were going to marry him. And I hope you too will come open and confess that you still love Ridge.
Honestly I feel like the only reason Thorne admittee his involvement was to throw Caroline off track because he doesnt want Brooke to lose Ridge. He doesnt want Ridge to be free and single.
I cannot feel sorry for Caroline. She is so angry about this letter however if she was so in love with Ridge, why did she marry Thorne?? Now she is so angry that the letter was kept from her (which she did see before the wedding). Now she is placing the blame on everyone except herself. If she married Thorne because she couldn’t have his brother, that’s awful. She made her decision not to see Ridge anymore and she chose to pursue a relationship with his brother. Does she love Thorne? Why did she marry him?
Exactly, I agree 100%. The other comments in these videos are mind boggling -- no wonder the real world has more problems than not -- common sense seems to not exist!
@@Arctic_Falcon thank you!! You are right!! I am a big proponent of common sense myself. It seems to have gone out the window especially this day and age.
The bottom line is Brooke kept that letter from Caroline for a week and didn't see that letter before her wedding lol So y'all getting mad at Caroline and said she could of called of the wedding lol ofcourse she's not going to leave Thorne at the altar lol hhh
Why did you marry thorn after you read the letter you still had a chance to not to marry him .the man you was in love with even came to you before the wedding and professed his love to you but what did you do
Yeah except Thorne fails to mention that Ridge was intentionally deceived, even if he felt it was "the right thing to do for Caroline". Thorne and Brooke are most definitely self serving here and disregarded Ridge and how he'd react.
Lol how could anyone possibly take up for a person like Ridge? He had his chance with Caroline and he blew it in the most spectacular way possible. He even tried to sleep with Brooke when she was best friends with Caroline, who was also engaged at the time!
@@Arctic_Falcon Lol I'm not defending Ridge in that regard, but with people like Thorne and Brooke being deceptive because they somehow believe they're the right hand of God for someone, then I'd be pissed off too. We both know brooke and Thorne couldn't match with them by normal means.
@@prestonrcasey Caroline is no angel in this situation either. After all, if she was honestly over Ridge and in love with Thorne, the letter wouldn't have even mattered. But now it's causing her buyer's remorse and she is thinking "I could have chosen Ridge instead if I had known about the letter". She is a lost little girl who certainly does need people like Thorne, Brooke and her father pushing her in the right direction.
@@Arctic_Falcon She herself can admit that she was in no frame of mind to get married so suddenly after a tragedy like rape. Honestly there were many factors at play which involved Brooke and Thorne persuading Caroline to get married.
Caroline has a bit of ego. She is really mad at herself. Caroline only went through with marrying Thorne out of pride because she didnt want to look like an idiot backing out of two weddings planned and paid for. She is mad at herself.
Brooke you made it happen by interfering in Caroline's life. I feel so bad for Thorne after his speech. Caroline I suggest you get an annulment if you feel so strongly about this.....I still suggest counseling but it doesn't seem like that's going to fix things.
ridge literally wrote the letter AFTER caroline accepted thorne's proposal. why is she being such a brat and saying it was all a scam to get her to accept thorne's proposal.
Before. The letter and proposal was the same night and the answer to the proposal was after Brooke hid the letter and rushed her into accepting the proposal
Good grief! Thorne and Brooke were conspiring to get Caroline to dump Ridge way before the letter incident. Who asks someone to marry them days after a rape trial. Caroline should’ve never trusted either of them.
The show definitely gets more free with the loving in the seasons I watched in the 2000s! But now that you mention it, this first season _is_ pretty chaste, all things considered. I mean, it's been months since Brooke & Ridge's first date and they haven't even done the ol' Devil's Tango yet! Ain't he supposed to be a womanizer? I'm beginning to think that was a lie! :P But no, you're right that for all it's now infamous reputation for everyone swapping spouses and lovers amongst family that there hasn't been one actual love scene nearly a year into the show. Even stuffy AF Y&R and ATWT was running circles around them on this, despite having the hottest cast of actors.
@@KariIzumi1 right?? I’m like get on with it! 😩 They didn’t even follow Thorne and Caroline’s wedding night like what the F? Soaps ALWAYS show the wedding night. And let’s be real… Rocco is a 20 something year old guy and hasn’t made a move on Donna? Get out of here. Brooke and Ridge are boring me to tears. 😩 Come ooooonnnnnn…..
@@lauriehester357 you think they're boring now, you should watch them today! They've spent the last three months up in Eric's business about his new wife Quinn being judgemental assholes with no lives of their own and now Ridge is throwing up Brooke's affair with Deacon in her face, in front of Hope. Truly terrible. The show wasn't moving at breakneck speed back then, but it's nice to see them with lives and careers other than one another. That's been missing for a long time now.
Right sorry you didn't give the Caroline the letter because you were worried about her getting hurt again I wasn't at all so that you can manipulate the situation because your competition with your brother for everything including his woman rights right right 🙄🤣👌
@@sippifire That's because Caroline was physically raped and father trained her to believe that he's a gentleman when he's actually exactly like his father a womanizer; and Ridge is not just about the libido their is more to Mr. Ridge Forrester and that's why Caroline told Stephanie that Throne joined in with Brooke Logan to hide Ridge's hand written love letter to her and then Caroline told Ridge what Brooke Logan really did to her so therefore, Caroline divorced Throne and beeline back to Ridge and married Ridge Forrester.

And the Foresters and her dad probably paid for most of both the weddings meaning hers bridges that didn't happen and then the one of her and thought and she didn't want to look like an unselfish idiot or a selfish idiot I can't make up her mind and back out again after all this money they spent on her twice now🤦
