What he did is wrong… and those girls were wrong too by choosing cash payments instead of card when they don’t have cash. They request the driver to go to ATMs and don’t wanna pay extra the inconvenience they’ve caused. At first, the driver was reasonable enough to involve the police… but as always, SAPS were not helpful and he got angry

While it's frustrating for drivers to deal with situations where they feel taken advantage of, there are better ways to handle it. Reporting the incident and canceling the ride if necessary are the best options. Although it’s difficult in the spur of the moment to think clearly and make rational decisions. One of the girls could’ve lost her life over petrol and the inconvenience of R150 which would be so unnecessary and bad.
