While I was not the biggest fan of the base game, for $6 this sounds good enough. Also the Quake 2 style compass sounds like a REALLY good idea. All other things aside, Boltgun needs Orks and Eldar.
Loved the Main Game! And oh Boy the DLC Looks Fantastic! Great Video as Always! For 6 Bucks/Euro... its a steal! I Like A Game With the right amount of Punch And Crunch!
I kinda feel off about Boltgun. Good game but it's not a boomshoot to me, more like a Serious Sam or Doom 2016. This is a DLC that I will buy and play in the next couple of months, the boomshot playlist expanded this weeks with a lot of games.
This looks like boltgun but more. Levels graphically look about the same. I wish they try something new if they are planning another dlc. Maybe some ork slaying in some humid jungle or maybe a small roguelike dlc with a different story in the warp where you need to kill a chaos lord but every time you die, you need to start again, or maybe purging the depth of a hive city from genestrealer cult. Don't get me wrong, I love this, this is perfect and I love spice, I would just appreciate a different spice after this.
I think a different spice is better suited for a sequel. I totally get what you mean and I want the same. But OG expansions like this was usually more of the same with a little bit of new and for 6 buckaroonies, eh it's a catch :D
Yeah, definitely. This is real good stuff for 6 bucks. And now that I think of it, what I am expecting is better suited for a sequel than the second expansion.
I can totally understand that, it does get very same ish after a while, would be cool if they managed to introduce some new mechanics etc as the game went on to keep it fresh.
You can dive right in, however this DLC is a bit like Doom Eternal's DLC in the sense it assumes you have gotten the hang of the game, it will kick yo ass
After inspecting the pictrecord with my visual implants, running it through the cogitator and having a look at it with my auspex, i can say that the Ecclesiarchy would allow this fine piece of propaganda to be released for the masses. Of course you have to complete the required rites of the Administorum and wait for the procedure to complete. But jokes aside, your editing is good in all parts. Liked to hear a "Scheissibeissi" in between! Your writing for this one was good too, very fluent and. I'd even call this a review with advice for whom this expansion can be a buy and in which case somebody shouldn't buy it. Maybe make new transitions with the same font you used for the new merch and use the palette you used for the channel graphics. If you really want to feel the pain, make a colored font, so you don't have to edit graphics every time, should you do that.
Yes, but I'd enjoy game even more if DLC content was added to the base game. Multi-melta and Rocket Launcher would be neat on final boss battle. Chaos Dreadnought was really awesome mini-boss and I wish I could see it in base game too!
Feel the same way. Good base to it and great weapons/damage feedback and colors but its kind of clunky and just go on forever. Dlc haa same problems except its wicked short😊
I dont think its overrated in the sense that its a fantastic entry into the world of boom shoots for all and anyone. It nails the basics and it does it really well. But yeah it does drag on for too loong :)
