I still can't believe that this is a sequel of Space marine1. Maybe if this game sells well, they might put Boltgun's protagonist in Space Marine 2 since it's basically a prequel of SM2.

Almost perfect, it only needs Leandros moaning about the lack of compliance with the codex Astartes,, and being able to consecutively use him as a thunder hammer to smite heretics and shut him up. As always, great work my dude.

I just got off playing Boltgun to see this what great timing.

Titus would be proud of all the work we've done during our personal crusade. All the purging, all the destruction we caused with all our weapons, and all the refreshments drunk, Titus would be proud. But our work is never done, onto the next world, the next battle, the next war. For the Emperor!

The only two main things missing from this game were a mini map and varied melee combat. The game at times can be difficult to navigate, when the level layout isn't linear, I found myself getting lost every other 2-3 levels. When it came to melee combat, the chain-sword is great with its slow down effect, but a thunder hammer would have been a great secondary melee option or to find as a secret. Overall, though flawed, Boltgun is a great Warhammer 40k game, and the devs really put a lot of heart into the game design. Highly recommend 8.5 /10.

Pro tip for exterminatus difficulty: Pick up Omnissiah blessing with Plasma gun equipped, then hold down the firing button in the general direction of the enemy you want erased from existence. Way too many people sleep on blessed plasma because unblessed it hurts the user and is generally low dps.
