Its a nurture league for QB's not a nature league. Some (very few) are incapable. Most of the time its Geno/Darnold to the Jets, any browns qb for the last 20 years, any bears qb drafted. Situations build winners and losers

I wouldn't say the Panthers are the worst team in sports while the White Sox exist.

Curious: with this conversation in mind, how would Rich feel about the Penix situation in ATL? Is the organization making a safe bet allowing the rookie to develop for the tenure of Kirk's contract? Hmm...🤔

To be fair, Im still a Kirk Cousins skeptic. He has yet to prove me wrong about being a stats QB who folds when you really need him to carry you to victory.

Matthew Stafford has 45 game winning drives in 209 starts, most of which he played from behind during because he was on the Lions. That's a percentage of 21.5. Cousins has 29 game winning drives in 148 starts, good for 19.6% of his career starts. But I'm sure the opinions of these QBs would be vastly different for little to no reason.

This is clueless, he is the loser. One thing that they failed to mention is that the teams drafting the Quarterbacks are the worst teams in the league. Thats the reason a lot of these draft picks fail.

I stopped the video when he said Williams holds onto the ball too long. Many stats have been shown that he actually throwing it very quickly into the play

Kirk Cousins is the Sam Bradford of his generation, with a slightly longer career. Lots of money, lots of sceptics, and lots of injuries and a couple of great games at the right time.

You have no idea what you're talking about if you think Kirk had a lot of injuries

This take is impressively stupid, even if there is an ocean of horrible takes online. Cousins started 128 of 130 possible games from 2015-2022, 3 more games than any other QB in the NFL.

Dude, Stafford was really good for most of his run in Detroit (his stats were really good and he always kept the Lions very competitive). He got to a very good Rams team and immediately won a Super Bowl. What does that tell you? Stafford was always great (or at least really good). The problem was Detroit.
@sauldula
@sauldula День назад
People that didn't watch the lions on a weekly basis always say this and boy you have no idea. He has all those comebacks because he was the reason the team was down most of those games. His passing numbers are huge because he could never get a lead to protect due to his erratic decision making. I promise you lions fans do not feel the way about him that yall think we do nationally.

@@sauldula Thank you!!!! Matt got himself into a lot of situations. The same year Matt won a superbowl he led the league in pick 6's. We can't have revisionist history when it comes to him now all of sudden.

As a Bears fan, it never seems too early to think about who the next head coach will be... and here we are again. Once again they are screwing themselves. They managed to acquire a QB who more than a few commentators have said was a generational talent, and they have failed to provide the tools they need most to help him succeed. Those being a capable O-line and an OC can adjust to those limitations. I'll put as much of the blame on the GM for sticking with the head coach as I would the head coach who has selected his assistants. Eberflus is burning out his second chance to field a winning team, and Ryan Poles might only get a second chance to get the right HC in place so that Williams doesn't get ruined. Maybe it's time to focus on other HC candidates aren't defensive coaches getting their first chance in the HC chair (yes, I remember Matt Nagy and Marc Trestman). I think the front office has more to do with that decision-making process than they should.

The reality is that the idea that a team will always draft a top franchise QB if they take one in the first round is a myth. It's possible, but unlikely. Also, love seeing Bomani

Drafts are always ridiculous. Was Brock Purdy the worst player in that draft? Was Bryce young the absolute player in that draft? Rather than pay people big money to evaluate talent just let the fans pick your players for free
