In my freshman year of college, I took the foot bridge across the Chippewa River, looked down and saw "Mt. Vernon" spelled out in the rocks. I hadn't met any friends yet, so I decided to go see this band that I had never heard of. It was the first band I saw as a kid in college and I had no idea just how much his music would stay a part of my life. Beautiful song.
