At the very top of the most underrated drummer of all time list. Plays for the songs not for the accolades but he can take anyone to school on how to pound the shit out of a drum set and still make it sing. Long live Tico '' The Hitman'' Torres
I guess I'm just one of those die hard lunatic fan who keep beggin you to play something from the early early early pre-Slippery days....and thank YOU for making my dream come true♥♥♥ !
I love how Jon talks about the first two albums like they came out decades before 'Slippery When Wet'. In reality, they came out in 1984 and 1985, with 'Slippery When Wet' in 1986. Tico is a beast, since he's pushing 60 at this time 🤘
@Enrique Jacob Across the border they turned water into wine. Some say it's the devil's blood they're squeezing from the vine. Some say it's a saviour in these hard and desperate times. I know it helps me to forget that we're just born to die.
@@111highgh Awesome album, but I think the B-side is a lot weaker than the A-side except for a couple of tracks. They should've included "The Radio Saved My Life Tonight".
getting older sucks but he mixes it up and I for one LOVE it !! His voice still gives me chills and goosebumps...I will love him till the day I die......
7800º Farenheit came from this song, i really save this album in my memory, and i stil listen as well were yesterday. I'm proud about my 34 years old, get older listen my favorites bands is something completely exciting. Being borned in 80º means having lived one of most richest moment about culture pop, Heavy & Hard Rock on mainstream. Simply great happening. Who is same age really sure know about sensation, memorizing good memories, and dreams come true.
And ironically the whole band has disowned the record cause it was during a bad period in their lives it bled into the record. And I love love the record
@@misterhimura036 j care because there is always a story as to how a record comes together. The meaning the songs. What the band were feeling at the time when they made it
The second album is the most underrated album by the band! Tokyo Road, Only Lonely, In and out of love, The Hardest Part is the Night, Always Run to You! All great songs!
Fully agree. Of course Quality of work 3rd 4th 5th are great. But 2nd album 7800 is full of passion and great melody so I love the album and recently bought used LP in Munich and I listened all day with my 6yrs old son and he also likes ^^ ( I used to have this album CD but lost..)
I grew up in Florida , when I was in high school my morning routine was get up put on some bon Jovi smoke a couple bong hits grab my surfboard and go hit the beach for 3 hours life was so simple back then
As a 30 year die hard fan...wow...just wow...saw 3 shows on this tour but have never been lucky enough to hear Only Lonely live. EVER! 32 shows over 29 years and never. One of my top 5 favorite Jovi songs so THANK YOU!
I've been a Bon Jovi fan for over 30 years and have NEVER seen them play this live. And 7800 is my favorite album. I don't care if Jon has to sing in a lower key -- I don't fault people for getting older. I just would like to hear more stuff from the earlier albums live. 😞
Everyone enjoys the song but Jon. When he hits high notes they sound strained. Then he seems to get tired and loses focus at the final part. But this is because of many years touring like a boss. 30 years of "non stop" singing. This man is a living leyend!!! The best frontman ever!!!
I also think he was filing a John at the end of the song because John messed up at the end and was going to continue the chorus when he was supposed to have stopped already LOL
A friend insists this is BJ's best song, and I can see why she likes it so much. Silent Night as well. The second album wasn't as instant as the first, but I now like it just as much. Its heavier numbers are really powerful live.
Over a 100 shows seeing this band and they play this song in Wichita! wow!! would give my right arm to see them play this at a show I was at. lol Absolutely fucking marvelous!!!!
Again! Those oldies but goodies made u guys they were to make or break yas! It made u guys, never forget that! Plus us older ones like to hear it now an then ❤🍺🥂💋🌹👀
I love this song so much! It definitely needs to be played more this tour, if I recall it's only been done 2 or 3 times so far! Although I have to say, I think it's a little too slow-tempo here.
Come on, I love Jon and will still see his band. But let’s get real, Phil is nothing compared to Richie. Furthermore, it’s harder to write the stuff than to copy it.
@@MaryDavidson911 Once they got Desmond Child, that's when it all came together. Richie is nothing without Jon and Jon needs Richie's creativity. I'm not a Phil X fan, however he's a better all around polished musician than Richie. You have to see him in a club. He's NO songwriter, but by far a better musician. Bon Jovi is still not the same without Richie Sambora.😁
I truly don't understand why they're a hated band and didn't really know ow they were. Maybe it's jealousy from others bc they did the huge stadiums and were liked by a large demographic from young girls, guys, women and moms. I know my mom loves Jon and still rings me to tell me quick Jon's on TV lol. She was so proud that I'd met my "crush" and had some fun with him..❤😅
just watched the video again and listened close to the lyrics - what an amazing song, never thought it could become one of my bj favourites! it just did!!!
