The early 00s were good cos the cellphones were Nokias and most did not have cameras, so you could enjoy the show but still call home without having to queue at a payphone lol
This is them at the absolute peak of their powers as far as I'm concerned after new jersey they were never ever the same the first four albums will always be their greatest .
Yes, the 90’s the edge wore off, nevertheless one of the best live acts in rock history. This show at the Spectrum will blow you away!!! JBJ 😊master showman
Best Live Bon Jovi sound Ever. Authentic Soundboard MIx to Jons liking and Vocals are strong. BAND IS Powerful and Tight. They're amazing here. Best PA sound from any tour
I remember this tour like it was yesterday but it was 1989 Charleston west Virginia the night before my high school graduation best show I have ever seen now I'm 51 years old both my kids have passed away at ages of 25 and 27 I still listen to a lot of bon jovi songs to help me through lot of days and memories
Ritchie always recorded tasteful leads for they're records....but for live shows he was quite the shredder! Some rare & great concert footage for sure.
17 at the time. First time I saw them in concert! Skid Row opening. Best concert I've been to! Miss those times! still have the concert tee. doesn't fit anymore tho. Lol
Roger Philabaum I seen them twice on this tour in 2 different cities in 2 states in 1989 Tallahassee Florida and Albany Georgia I was only able to get autographs from 3 of the members of skid row Sebastian , Rachel and Rob still have them in my scrap book I was 17 when I went to my first concert in 1984 and that was Huey Lewis and the News and 38 special
Thank you posting! I was 15 in '89 when they rolled into town & it cost me around $25 for a ticket. I was able to pay for it with my paper route money. Yup times have changed! LOL
Set and still holds an attendance record of over 12,000 in Pensacola, a month earlier than this show. Thanks for posting this. Helps us all remember all of the little things we long forgot.
This tour was my first and only Bon Jovi concert, that I've ever seen in Houston, Tx. And I thought this high catwalk was the most amazing thing I've ever seen!!!
80's music is so much better than what "artists" are putting out now. Bon Jovi, Guns N Roses, Poison, Motley Crue, Cinderella, Skid Row, RATT, etc..... There is no Rock anymore. Rock is dead I suppose.
Came to Anchorage, Alaska this tour. Did 3 shows, no opener cause Skid Row didn't come even though they were billed. Didn't care cause Bon Jovi was the greatest band back then. Went to the first show general admission with my dad. I was in junior high and they were my favorite band since 5th grade when I heard "You Give Love a Bad Name". First cassette I ever owned was Slippery When Wet. Favorite band until Richie left. Haven't purchased an ablum from Bon Jovi since then, but thanks for the many memories.
This is a transfer from VHS. There’s plenty of high quality video recordings from way back farther than this. This is a pro shot video so a HQ version of it surely exists somewhere. Anything shot on film from the ‘olden’ days retains great quality throughout the years.
Saya masih kelas 2 smp waktu pertama dengar rekamannya. Setelah itu baru tahu kalau ternyata yg saya dengar sebelumnya adalah lagu mereka juga. Yg berjudul You give love a bad name. Tambah cinta sama bon jovi n/
Concerts were just different then. No cell phones so fans were ENGAGED! Screaming, singing, dancing the whole time. It was damn near a religious experience! This tour was BJ at their ultimate peak. Look at the energy, the intensity, the joy! I saw them in Tacoma on this tour when they shit the video for LYHOM. Might be the best concert I’ve ever seen (with SKID ROW killing it as the opener!)
I just watched part of a 2019 show on here. I like this era better. So young full of energy Jon running all over. Now these days he holds onto the mic stand most of the show standing there. I miss richie and alec
I've seen them 4 times There so awesome Great band in the world hopefully one day I will shake your hand I'm Lynette your number 1fan he is a legend 😊😊😊😊

*_Unfortunately I had to say "goodbye" to all my old friends. Some passed away, moved away and others I had to let go cuz I got clean & sober and well, they didn't._*
At 53:19:00 you can listen to Jon talking about the critics. It's sad that he needed this kind of reassurance or recognition. Critics don't buy records or go to concerts. This band left an indelible mark in an entire generation and is still touching the lives of our children. This is all that shoul've mattered to them and I hope he has made peace with it by now.
What a great classic Show. All the best songs from their 80s heyday...(except a pity they didn't include Raise Your Hands, that one's my all time favorite).Does anyone know if this Show has ever been put on DVD?
