I wasn't expecting Bonclay to strike the heart strings with how flamboyant and dorky he was, but I was definitely wrong. I didn't even make it to the end of that scene; Mr 3 calling him by his Baroque Works handle was where the tears started for me

@@murasakibebeby3127 i can answer your questions with spoilers if you want. it will only spoil the next episode not further. SPOILERS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . It has nothing to do with Fushi tapping Bon. As soon as Fushi got Todo and Chabo to safety, he started working on a plan to save Bon with Kahaku. Kahaku told Fushi that in the original Tonari's diary there were many descriptions and recipes for different poisons. So they create a super strong sleeping poison, Fushi drinks it and thus get an ability to recreate it. So he flies in Ligard form above the guillotine (we saw it in the last couple of seconds of ep 7) and spreads this sleeping poison all over the crowd from the sky (in this episode they said 'its staring to rain', thats Fushi's sleeping poison). So everyone quickly falls asleep and Fushi swoops down to save Bon (just in time to stop the guillotine). He creates a husk of a Bon's body and cuts his head to make it look like the execution was a success. So after Cylira and everyone else later wakes up they see a beheaded Bon and celebrate the successful execution. That is why the preview for ep8 says "with Bon's death", because now on paper Bon is dead, so he would have to live under a new persona from now on moving forward, he reunites with his family, changes his look and in now called Baron Springroll.

Also there's no way that red headed priest is dumb enough to believe that they all fell asleep out of nowhere and that bon is actually dead with no one witnessing it. There's no way. He's too much of a menace. I'm glad bon gets to see his family one last time though. But what was knokker guy and princess doing? Or was it nothing worth writing about? The last we saw of them was the princess saying let's believe in their good luck.

@@EccentricFM Bon can see spirits... When he transforms into him, he will be able to us his gift. Just like Tonari's Poison resistance, when he transforms into her. Fushi is able to use the abilities of the people he is changing into.

Animation isn't as good as early season 1 but better than the end of Season 1(studio change). The adaption of the material itself is still top-notch.

first 2 episode can feel kinda rough and jumbled, but starting with episode 3 it settles down for a good pace and a great arc.

Fushi can create bodys at any time i think after all its just a mass of flesh, he just cant personally become someone untill they die as he sort of takes on their soul data i guess

It´s like 8/10 heartwarming Anime .. it´s about life and the people living in it, with an Immortal. dont wanna spoil much more.

its just as impactfull, both bons are great

Its got a studio change so animation got hit. The adaption itself is as good as season 1 and to be fair the animation faltered a bit at the end of season 1 too.

@@migu6528 Season 1 compared to season 2 is like seeing a gorgeous Studio Ghibli movie and then watching One Punch Man season 2.
