bonnie&damon || hold on 

honestly now i think she never had any intention of making their relationship romantic, dullena was going to be endgame either way but she knew her fanbase liked bamon and gave us some good moments but that was it... it's truly a tragedy since they had more chemistry than any dullena scene ever

I concur everything you said. She imagined herself as Elena so this was her fantasy played out to be with Ian as Damon. I liked Enzo, once he became a better man, but for me...I was rooting for them to be end game. I thought it would be fitting for Elena to wake up and realize no one is chasing after her. They've all moved on to healthier relationships, so she'd have to go live the human life she wanted. I didn't like that Caroline got to be with or chased after every guy on the show too. Then, she gets to marry Stefan? Uh uh, nope. I'm glad that she had that taken away from her, but because Plec can't let her white female characters go without....here comes a letter on the horizon from Klaus not too long after. Her husband just died, for Christ sakes! And as a safety fall back, she had Ric for a back burner if she ever wanted him. The most fucked up thing Plec did was pull the rug from under Bonnie's fans by giving her happiness with someone who worshiped her, even if it wasn't Damon cuz he was too afraid he'd fall in love with her and out with Elena ( Mr. Imma go sleep til Elena wakes up so I don't get tempted by happiness without her), but with Enzo...just to take him away at from her at endgame. That was like a big "Fuck You!" To her fans. That's why I'm glad Kat was like, whether we get picked up for another season....I'm out. She wanted more for her career than being played as guest appearance on her own show. The books had her fully developed and successfully happy with Damon. Ok... I'm done with my angry rant. 😄 ...Ok, just one more..... Fuck You, Plec! You ruined both your shows anyway.

@@chloeroxs9943 But here's the rub. Bonnie is a Supreme Bennett witch, because she is the last of her line. Tessa was her ancestor so she definitely has potential to be even more badass than what she was shown to be. She was studying abroad, probably to learn more about her magic and different magic to incorporate and get inspired by. Damon was created by an old vampire...not as old as the Mikealsons, but powerful enough that old vamp blood runs in his veins. Bamon having kids together (Bonnie makes a potion so they can have kids while he's still a vampire) means that they would be a generation of powerful hybrids that could have someday taken down the Mikealson family.....the witches in the family too. Ayanna's descendant battling & taking down the first vamps she was against Esther creating in the first place. (Side note: Didn't appreciate Esther tapping into the Bennett ancestors to restore her ability to do magic, or Bonnie and her mom. Again, more of JP bullshit. Yet Ayanna's descendants weren't good enough to warrant an invitation to her intro ball.) Now that would have made for better interesting tv. Idc how much Julie tried to scrub the all powerful magic of the Bennett witches down by trying to make it seem that Bonnie wasn't the ultimate power, with her other witches on the Originals. Bonnie's magic was superior. She had no teacher to help her. She Phoenixed her way into it finally tapping into those ultimate powers, every time she died, she came back stronger, some how. Every upper superpower she came up against showed her something new and she adapted and came out with more knowledge. Perhaps she should send the Originals a fruit basket as a thank you for making her a fighter.

Yes. I totally believe that Damon transferred all his feelings for Katherine to Elena, after he found out that Katherine played him. Stefan was compelled and tricked into taking Katherine's blood. He despised her after that. But Damon...he was in his feelings that the Katherine look alike wanted his brother and made Elena his obsession until he had her. They had sexual chemistry that they often mistook for love. But when you look at how Bamon looked at one another...there was always this unspoken longing in their eyes. Like an ache that we could all feel. It was torture because it was clear as day and they just wouldn't cross that line because of their blind loyalty to a girl who didn't deserve it. I will go down with this ship... die on the mountain that these two should have been endgame. Bonenzo was amazing and beautiful because he treated her like his Goddess. And we all know that he was the substitute for what Damon was supposed to be for her. We also know why that never happened. But....they were the best (non) couple on the show.

I fully agree! I had just started watching it and I confess that I didn't really like Damon's personality, I didn't like this character. It was when he and Bonnie started getting closer that he started to be the best version of himself, he was "going back" to being human again. They had a lot more chemistry than Delena. And another one that I found very strange on Elena's part, saying in the first season that it would always be Stephan, but the episodes went on and we saw that she didn't tell the truth. I just thought it sucked that she switched boyfriends so fast, the series was diminishing the essence of the beginning and what really remained real was Damon and Bonnie with their friendship, but it could have been even better if they had stayed together as a couple. 🇧🇷🥺
