Boo!- Mixed Media Assemblage Collage
Please join me as I share how I created this Mixed Media Assemblage Collage. The theme for this month's "The Gypsy & The Witch" project was Halloween/Samhain so I created this collage to celebrate the holiday. I used the contents of my junk drawer, happy mail embellishments from many friends and a focal image from the Gypsy herself- Rita Marie :)This is not a tutorial but rather is a process video and I show you how I create this from beginning to end :) I hope this inspires you to create something similar and if I inspire you, please let me know so I can check it out :) Please join us at The Gypsy & Witch Facebook group where we encourage you to create along with us each month :) Peace & LOVE

Hi Cali! This is just fantastic. I love all your projects, but these collages are my absolute favorites. I made one and it took me two days after I had glued everything to get the courage to spray paint all of it black😄. That's the scary part for me. But it turned out really well. This is gorgeous and inspiring. ..have a great Samhain Calli from a proper Scottish heathen lol (I really want a new glue gun as I lost my last one moving house...I've seen some amazing things like Ice crowns made with hot glue and glitter. ..I must start making some of these collages as you can capture a moment in time, or an emotion...its a great idea and they turn out so beautifully that you would be proud to display them. I save up all sorts too...wooden beads, deconstructed jewellery just anything and everything. ..I'm saving plastic containers to make shrinking plastic keyring fobs with foxes on to donate to the UK wildlife charities to help pay veterinary charges for injured animals. When my work shop/cabin is ready I want to help reintroduce wildlife back to the wild...I have to fence in a few acres to watch them without too much human contact as you can't release them until you are sure they can hunt and cope with other wildlife. ..any that don't adapt will be cared for in as natural a setting as possible but I will be feeding them if they can't hunt etc. I am looking forward to it so much and these collages would make a lovely way to remember individual animals and their journey back to the wild.
