All my links in one place linktr.ee/came... Today i'll show you How to Make Easy Book Page Tags with Pockets and NO measuring.
They use tho whole book page too, so you won't be adding to your scrap pile when making these.
I was doing a little junk journal decorating and ealised i was short of larger tags, so decided to play around with some botanical book pages and these are what i came up with.
Any book pages will work, although i chose to you pages from The Concise Book of Flora and A Colour guide to familiar Trees, Leaves, Bark and Fruit.
These are perfect for beginners or anyone who is looking to add some interesting and easy tags to a junk journal, mini album or gift.

I love the stuff you create! And I love it that you don't use much "trash" to do your projects. Some people take their recycling trash, spend a lot of money and time on it, and come up with expensive "trash" that looks horrendous! I also love your accent! My dad was born in the UK, but he moved to the States in his teens, and lost his accent. what a loss! :( I love your quirkiness, and I love how you talk to yourself!! I was SHOCKED to see your last name! My mother's maiden name is Gathercole and her parents immigrated to U.S. when children. My grandmother's maiden language was French, but she was ashamed of her "immigrant status" and willed herself to forget how to read & speak it. *sigh* Grandpa Gathercole hailed from the UK!

Those are absolutely beautiful. I just did an altered paper clip like that a couple weeks ago when I was trying to make different types of paperclips for a journal. I love the idea to do the same for tags also. Can hardly wait to make some. So simple to make ☺♥

It is so good to see you back. I have a little true story for you. I enjoy cutting things out and one evening while watching a boring program on tv I did a lot of fussy cutting, enough to get a bin full of paper. In the morning I opened the door and burst out laughing. Sometime during the night my cat Snow had the time of her life. There was ripped up paper everywhere, in the kitchen, dining room and lounge. There she was sound asleep in her hammock, surrounded by her very hard nights work. What a bl…y mess, all I could do was laugh. Even hubby saw the funny side of it, took me three days to find every little piece of paper. But we love her so it didn’t really matter. Snow will always be my baby no mater what she does. Hope Nala is well and giving your family lots of hugs and kisses, they are our treasures. 😾😘🌹🦋👍 ooops love these pockets, where do you get the ideas from. Thank you.❤️

Julie, I love this process it’s perfect for mass making tags. You’ve come up with a new one I think! We adopted a stray girl kitty. She hops every where. So we named her Kanga Rula. Kanga for short. The rula is because she rules the house 😂 she has the longest legs I’ve seen on a kitten, she’s cheeky, Minxy, and loves to play fetch like a dog always bringing her toys back to us. Truly a smart, crazy fur ball of energy. I love hearing about Nala!

Ok, so I'm back to tell you that these tags are addictive! I've now made them with floral book pages, fairytale book pages, magazine pages, and numerous printables, ranging from wallpapers, collaged pages, fashion pages and of course sheet music. They go with a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g and any size! For the small ones I tucked teacards in the pockets (like you), for the larger ones I have tucked various other tags in the pockets. I love combining a black and white pocket tag with a more colorful tag inside! I also came up with a frugal idea to make these from printables on regular copy paper, I just lined the inside (middle) with one cut to size piece of a book page. That created enough weight/sturdiness, even when the tag is quite large. Thanks again Julie for this fabulous idea, I absolutely love it! ❤

Love what you have created! I have to give it a go. I have so many flower and botanical books that I hoard. It's just awful. And digitals! I love purchasing digitals. Then I print them all out whether I need them or not. Im drowning in papers but I love it!! LOL
