Hi I recently found your channel and am loving your Christmas vlogs. I'd really like to try some different teas, I only drink regular breakfast tea at the moment. I'd really like to see a video of your favourite teas or maybe matching teas with books.
Yayyy last night I didn't have time to watch this, so I opened a new tab for it so I didn't forget it and went to sleep. And now I'm about to have breakfast and opened my computer and THIS video was waiting for me and now I'm so happyyyyy :)
You reminded me of a tweet I always think of when I hear about chamomile tea (I hate it too): "thinking about camomile tea: oh yeah i love it, the calming drink. actually drinking camomile tea: the hot hay water has not relaxed me"
Love seeing all the teas you get and your opinions of them. My tea advent calendar had some duds in it as well but I think it’s still a good way to get outside of my comfort zone and try some things I wouldn’t normally choose.
For next year would definitely the bird and blend advent calender. The teas have all been lovely Christmassy type flavours so far. And all really tasty. ☺️

hahaha it is a risky game! I do drink at least 5 cups of tea a day so I just have to remind myself that even if I have a not so good one in the calendar, I still have like 4 or 5 other cups of tea to enjoy!
Oh bless you and your mild disgust every time you get a bad tea 😂. Have you tried Bird & Blend? They do amazing tea calendars. Not sure if they’re completely vegan, but they’re pretty inclusive. One to explore next year? Offblak tea is great too!
Hahaha I just can’t hide it😂 and I’ve tried a couple of Bird and Blend teas and loved them! I looked at their advent calendar first but sadly it was sold out💔 but I’m going to be more prepared next year and order their one early!
Is porridge in your country normally a winter thing? :) In Germany it's nothing a lot of people eat on a regular base, but because of some trends the last years people like to make some refreshing porridge bowls with fruits in summer. I also eat porridge in winter tho...^^
Yeah, I had a good few years where I ate porridge every single morning and then I think I overdid it ahaha so I took a summer porridge break and now it's making a comeback!
I love watching your vlogs because you honestly make the small moments in life seem more special. You also introduced me to milky earl grey tea, I am now a earl grey connoisseur , lol :)

I'm definitely a coffee person, I really need my cup of coffee in the morning :D But I like tea, too, especially in the autumn and winter time. I only tend to use milk in my earl grey tea (which is not my favourite type of tea), I prefer drinking tea without milk and with a little bit of sugar or honey. With coffee, I don't use sugar or honey :D Oatmilk in the coffee is so good! I'm not a vegan but the normal cow milk in the coffee doesn't taste that good anymore because I use oatmilk.
If you love strong tasty teas you should try the damman frères ones they have lots of Christmas flavours and also some like carrot cake and pecan pies...

A detox tea for Christmas well that’s great. Ngl I’m annoyed by that. It’s supposed to be a time where people don’t worry about that sort of thing. It sucks. But oh well. Loved this vlog! @@ciarascorner omg yes! Let’s start a petition. I don’t think there’s actually any proof of any food or drink that actually speeds up detoxing or at least very little. Ugh bloody diet culture. Very slowing I think people or at least hope more people are starting to realise it’s all advertising. Loved the vlog though thank you!!❤️
Amazing coffee skills but girl, I can never get over the fact that you use instant coffee. I thought people only used that for camping or when extremely desperate! But you live your best life just such a strange concept for me. Thanks for all the cozy Christmas vibes!
hahaha, I’m not sure where you’re based in the world, but in the U.K. most people use instant coffee ahahha, I know it’s not so great but I don’t drink coffee very often so I don’t mind😂
That's just too cute when you guys call it 'chai tea' 🤦😂😂 Chai actually is the hindi word for tea, so when you say chai tea it translates to 'tea tea'..and 'chai chai' in hindi😂😂
I have LOTS sadly nowhere is accepting them at the moment because of the pandemic! Pre-covid I never went anywhere without my keepcup but hopefully places will start taking them again soon!
Yeah, it’s a real shame:( I think it’s to avoid cross contamination or something like that! One independent place still takes keep cups but the chains sadly don’t! And thank you!💕
IDK what you are on about Pret not doing chai lattes for the festive season. I think the one you went to were spinning you a line as I have a subscription and have one every day>It's a standard year round menu item. Perhaps they had run out of the ingredients which is fair enough then say that don't lie to your customers.Also if you want tea thats just regular then dont get an advent calendar as most of those will contain fruity or herbal teas. I did get one that was not very herbal or fruity centered from the English Tea Shop but I misplaced it so havent tried any yet
Ahh that’s odd - must have just been the one I went to! But glad they haven’t been fully discontinued! And haha I like the surprise, even if every day isn’t my favourite I enjoy trying them and seeing what they’re all like!
