Hi, I'm Ciara and I’m a lover of all things cosy! Here on my channel you'll find a little bit of everything I love so expect to see books, food, yoga, Gilmore Girls and more! I'm never far from a hot drink so grab yourself a cuppa and enjoy!
Is definitely possible. I have regularly re-read Lord of the Rings every few years. Usually takes me around 9 and a bit hours. But then I have always read extremely fast. Somewhere between 170 and 180 pages an hour. Somehow I just lose myself in the story and next thing I know. the book is finished. To this day I have to be careful. If I go to bed at 10 pm and start a series, I will finish book two by 2 am and have to make myself turn the light off and sleep (instead of reading book three) because of course work and commitments. Has cost me a fortune over the years. Have over 4k books in my Kindle library alone and still growing.
Oh how cool is it to hear you'll visit my home country! Which places in Switzerland will you visit? Maybe we can gather some sight seeing-tips for you :)
He’s a very sweet boy - we think he’s a ragamuffin and the ragdoll tendencies really shine through with how affectionate he is and how much he loves to be carried haha
I feel like the nail in the tyre drama is such a perpetual Yorkshire gal problem, it’s all that farm machinery! lovely to see you have such a wonderful time at the Eras tour, and thank you for sharing your thoughts on Fourth Wing ♥️ I’m reading the Cazalet Chronicles at the moment and finished the first book yesterday during a mooch around Harrogate, I think they’d be well up your street if you want to add another series to that mega holiday TBR! have a great roadtrip and safe travels x
Hahah, so true - but couldn’t have happened at a worse time! Ooh thanks for the recommendation, that sounds like a lovely day and I’ll definitely check out the books!
I had a similar experience with Fourth Wing. I felt it was a slow start and a bit awkward to begin with. But once I got 2/3 or 3/4 I did get more into it and enjoyed finding out how it would end. So it’s interesting to hear you had a similar experience 🙂
I thought about you today . I was watching you while having serious problems. You were my comfort watch ... Im so happy to see you back and being well! :)
Happy Birthday! I have missed your vlogs and immediately had to watch yours as soon as I saw it. I have become obsessed with this season of Bridgerton, but I need to get back to my reading, because part 2 wasn't going to come any faster.
Missed this in my sub box!! So glad to see you’re back - love your vlog content even if it’s not particularly reading focused so if you wanted to make that kind of content when in a slump I would definitely watch! But also if you just need a break and to take the pressure off that’s cool too! 🥰
I'm so happy with this new video. I'm always updating your channel to see if there's anything new, i've been missing your videos! Many kisses from Brazil 🤍🤍
Ahhhhh I clicked so fast on your video, so excited to see you! And your cats are just adorable <3 they have grown so fast haha! And Acotar is the best ! You will looove Throne of Glass :D
The Hobbit was my favourite book as a kid. But I never did start The Lord of the Rings.. until yesterday. It’s been a while.. I’m now 51, so it’s been over 49 years since I first read The Hobbit (I read it multiple times as a kid) I’m really enjoying LotR so far, I haven’t watched the movies either. So it’s new to me, but familiar as well because of Bilbo’s story 😊 Note: This is not meant as any sort of attack, just an observation. I feel like ‘24 hour readathon’ has lost its meaning on a lot of channels. The ‘..athon’ part was taken from marathon, so it denotes a long and tiring endurance period. If it was a ‘24 hour danceathon’ they wouldn’t stop at 11 or 12 and go home to sleep. 😂 Maybe just call it a book-binge or something?? 🤷♀️
