I feel like our moods match perfectly. I live in Paris and the past week we have had some nice weather, sunshine and nice temperature and I immediatly felt so positive and energized, it feels great to be able to be outside without freezing!
The spring weather definitely was great. I think it's gonna get a bit colder again here in Germany, but I am ready for sunshine and warmth. :D That books sounds really interesting, too. I hadn't heard about it yet.
I 100% agree, I'd rather have interesting characters over an interesting plot. It's a problem for me as a writer, but I don't really care about plot --- I'm a character-driven person! 😂
Hi Ciara! :) I relate so much to the comparison you made of the redness of your face with tomatoes and found it hilarious 😂 "We Went to the Woods sounds" interesting, added it to my Goodreads. Those cookies look absolutely delicious!!! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend ☀️
Yep, that's how I feel about good characters too. Also, there are only so many plots before the writer has to resort to wild twists and artificial reveals. Thx
I’m happy you’re happy‼️ Also I wish I could get a yellow sweater like yours! I’m like a casual workout person, still I do enjoy it especially the Zumba‼️😋 🍌 🍪 Ps: I recently finished A Girl’s Guide To Tea & Tomorrow; it was sweet, funny, and also the food‼️ I’m at the part of Pride and Prejudice, where Lady Deburg Catherine pays a visits to Lizzie Bennett and it’s so mind blowing‼️ I’ve got 106 pages to go in The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, so far I like siblings Claudia and Jamie even though they bicker a lot but so far it’s not a fight!
Ooh so sorry - I forgot to add the recipe - It was 200g rolled oats, 3 ripe bananas, 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein (about 35g), 2 tablespoons peanut butter & 2 tablespoons maple syrup! Just mash the bananas, add the peanut butter and syrup - mix till combined, then add the oats and protein & stir till you have a cookie dough consistency - you can add more oats if needed! Then bake for about 12 mins until golden!
I'm glad you're feeling so well! I'm feeling exactly the opposite, actually, but I hope things will ger better soon... The book sounds very interesting, I'm definitely gonna look it up. :o Thanks for the recipe for cookies! I'm allergic to dried nuts and all that kind of stuff so I can't eat peanut butter, but they looked delicious. :o Can I ask what's the name of the band or singer that sings the music you played in this video? Or the song names? I want to look it up, they are so nice! :) Have a great week and hope to see you soon.
What a wonderful video! Thank you for sharing your positive energy with us, I really needed it! :) I was just wondering.. is RU-vid and Yoga teaching your full-time profession? Just curious 😊
Aww thank you!☺️ No, they’re not my full time job currently - my day job is in digital marketing but I’ve been on furlough recently because of the lockdown!
@@ciarascorner Ah, okay. Thank you for the reply! That sounds really interesting. Hopefully you won't be on furlough for too long. Lots of love from Germany!
I am hoping for spring, but it's not looking quite so close in New England! Also, I am having an attack of stupid - I can't find the recipe? I really want to make those cookies and have some very ripe bananas patiently waiting on the counter....
Oh gosh, sorry - I totally forgot to include the recipe! It was 200g rolled oats, 3 ripe bananas, 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein (about 35g), 2 tablespoons peanut butter & 2 tablespoons maple syrup! Just mash the bananas, add the peanut butter and syrup - mix till combined, then add the oats and protein & stir till you have a cookie dough consistency - you can add more oats if needed! Then bake for about 12 mins until golden!
@@ciarascorner Thanks so much! Gonna give these a try (minus the vanilla protein, don't have anything even remotely like that - hope it works) later today. Oh, and will have to substitute a different sweetener for the maple syrup (which is ridiculous because I live in New England....)
@@ciarascorner Thanks so much. I did a "reverse stone soup" on them (taking out most of the good ingredients) but even without the powder and the swetener they were delicious and easy and very well received!
This is going to sound odd but I like that you don’t have an over abundance of book videos that comes out because it really makes your weekly video extra special. I’m about to rewatch your Harry Potter ones. I’ve been rereading HP5 and I couldn’t remember you talking about it so I’m gonna see if I can find it. If you didn’t, are you planning on doing it? I’d love to hear your thoughts. I forgot Soooo much of the story line!!! I’m super excited for spring too!!! Do you and Jay do anything special for Spring Solstice/Easter? Are you going to do the salutations in the park again?
Aww thank you! I definitely like to keep it mixed up with books and other stuff too - glad you enjoy! I honestly can’t remember, I thought I had done a video for all of the HP books... but not planning on rereading anytime soon I don’t think! And ooh, no special plans except for lots of chocolate on Easter Sunday! I think we’ll do the sun salutations for summer solstice!
@@ciarascorner Ah I was close lol. Summer instead of Spring Solstice. I could've swore you did, too. I was just scanning by title so I could skip to the specific video but this gives me an excuse to rewatch the videos post HP4 (last one in the title). Are you going to pick out a Star Wars book for May?!
