I'm writing a story too, but since I have to deal with memory issues, I decided not to pay attention to my word count, and just focus on the writing. I have 93 pages, and I'm happy with my progress so far.

I always miss you announcing you're filming these by like 6 hours and it's driving me crazy! I'm going to just ask my questions now. 1. Is there a villain character in your book? Some contemporaries have them and some don't. And 2. Based off you saying the book is set in winter, is there a Christmas scene?? This was yet another great writing video and the funny thing is I'm going through the same thing you are with the draft process. I am in the middle of cutting words out and it's a slow process but I'll get there. I hope to get an agent soon because I have a partal request from a publisher in my back pocket that I hope works out for me soon! No pressure there haha. but seriously I'm working on my book since 2013 so don't feel like it's forever for you because it's been like a century for myself! It would have been done sooner but as soon as I wrote it I didn't know if I wanted it to get published or not at the time and I abounded the project but then I got inspired somehow and I started on the revisions. I write at night too! (when I'm not in school haha because I do my writing when I'm on my break in between classes) I find it more relaxing at night that's just me. Anyway I'm just rambling here, good luck on the book Christine you can do it! I can't wait to read it! and I hope to meet you at BookCon this year which I will be attending and I would love to hear more about your writing in person rather on a video haha.
