Hi was there too and loved and found the house very cozy and welcoming and the guides were so sweet and helpful ,loved the gift shop too ,was cute ,thanks for sharing ,
My mother gave that book for Christmas one year & I loved it so much & I purchased all the dvd of this movie. I actually have it out right now on my tv stand. I watch it at least once a week👍😀
This was so interesting! I just read Little Women a few weeks ago for the first time, and didn't know it was written about them. I just spent a while looking stuff up on Wikipedia about them. What a strange life they had. Thanks for sharing!
Pretty cool ! Shame you couldn't show the inside of the house. Got a quick flash of the Hawthorne house, loved the wind around porch. Mass. has some great historical places. I regret that we didn't take more time exploring instead of hitting up the baseball games .( my Tigers were in town ) . We went to go to a toy auction, and again for the Big E. Thanks for sharing, your the best !.......Rhino
I don’t understand no videos or photos. I’ve been to so many historic homes and never ran into any restrictions like that. Since I live in Hawaii and I’m unlikely to make a trip to concord Massachusetts, I would love to see a video tour of the house. Maybe that’s what it is about… that they sell a video tour on DVD or something? Oh my gosh… just realized how old this video is.
I had never heard of the "mood" pillow. My middle daughter and I began joking about getting my oldest daughter a "mood" pillow (she probably wouldn't think it funny).
Love your video. The reason no pics and video in such places is probably because it would be on RU-vid. People wouldn't pay to see it and that's how they pay for the upkeep on the house...
musicaltheatergeek79 exposure to flash photography over time can damage the artifacts. Even if you tell people not to use flash, some still will, so it's easier just to have a "no photography" policy across the board.
