"The Hindutva movement is anti-Hindu in that it rejects all the premises of Hinduism," says Shashi Tharoor in a conversation about his new book The Hindu Way.
But i am reading "Why i am a Hindu" right now. I am eagerly waiting for the part on political Hinduism or Hindutva. It is because Tharoor has claimed that he differentiates between hinduism and hindutva that i started reading it.
Shashi is a very smart person. With his eloquent mannerism and command over English he is sure to mesmerise the Anglophiles. Unfortunately we Hindus have no knowledge of our great scriptures. Thanks to Nehru. So it becomes easy for charlatans to fool us and look at our religion with contempt. It's easily visible that he has read Hindu epics written by Western writers.
Hindutva is a direct reaction to Islam and Christianity. Hindus do not condemn other religions. But these religions OPENLY teach their brood to condemn Hinduism and Hindus. This is the reality which must be understood. No if's and but's. The tipping point has now been crossed. Now the Muslims and Christians, to a lesser extend, have to accept this is the current reality. Arabs don't care for Muslims from India except as workers in Halal industry. Accept that. Vatican only interested in money from their Indian flock. Accept that too. In the final analysis, the Indian person is a brown man and the foreigners are only interested to see how they can benefit. Understand this is difficult to palate but this is the TRUTH.

Hinduism has been all accepting...true...but when this vedas upanishads and other hindu religious texts were written at that time Islam was not a religion...since we have unfortunately this religion now we need to change accordingly😌
Paramatman - the Most High (attribute BRahman - the Most Merciful) denotes One God of all. Jews, Christians, Muslims call Him G-d, God, Allah (the Divinity). The differences came when people attributed divinity to Angels (Devas), Djinn (Asuras), family of Shiva (Adam), Noah (Vishnu), Abraham (Brahma Vedas), Moses (Rama son on Am-Ram), David (Krishna), Ezekiel (Buddha), Jesus (Isa) and Muhammad (Kalki). All great personalities lived exemplary lives. No distinction between each other.
