Having said that, the BJP-bashing was not required at all. Inform us about what your government did better when it was in power(and not so long ago), instead of telling us what the current one did or didn't do. That might influence a well-read citizen's decision more, while voting. I do not support a particular party but sir your party didn't serve me well either. So then, stop the bashing. Because that is hypocrisy. 🙏
@@arunimagupta3008 exactly. I'm not a modi fan either but the way he presented it felt like his party has done no wrong at all. People chose modi in 2014 only because they were tired of the bullshit his party had put out for the past 60 years.
Arunima that is correct, I've watched many of his parliamentary speeches. He speaks so calmly and without anger unlike other MPs. This man is a gem and inspiration.

Manoj Srivastava there are many of us who have our thoughts in our first language which is not Hindi or English for the matter. Knowledge of English and privilege do not go hand in hand.
This was an interview where we not only got to know only Shashi Tharoor the writer but also about various personal experiences and feelings of his life too. Absolutely enjoyed it and keep the good work on ladies.
Believe me or not, it took me a second to believe what I saw, that Books On Toast has really interviewed Dr. Shashi Tharoor, before I could click on the video.
I always feel like he has an editor in some dingy corner of his mind, fixing the grammar that comes out of the mouths of people talking to him before sending it to his brain. Do we have a filter like that on Insta?

How many public libraries are there in your nearby areas? We, Keralites do have 5-6 in 2.5 Km areas and all those are getting govt grants to ensure that all the libraries are running successfully. . Reading is a habit which can transform you to the right direction

It is nice to have Dr. Tharoor. I love Anuya and Sharin but you guys don't read much of non-fiction. It would have been better to have unlikely pairing style of interview that would have brought out much more.

When i saw Shashi Tharoor is in the house I quickly subscribed. He is a literary genius. It’s like listening to your favourite melody and actually learning a thing or two. Doesn’t matter that you had to rewind a couple of times just to get things right but this man here makes history reading a smooth task.
Truly impressed with Dr. Shashi Tharoor, with Anuya and Sahrin in his interview on BOT and loved and understood his ideas about what he's been reading. Truly loved words-story-words game and it was certainly not "floccinaucinihilipilification", meaning literarily "estimating as worthless". Continue the good work!
Dr. Tharoor was probably the fastest among all the guests they have had to react to all of Anuya's puns. Just shows how much he identifies with humour in his regular thought process, no matter what the kind of humour it is.
