Wow… I can tell that you are an awakening spirit being, just by listening to your conversation and the way you’re trying to broaden your scope on everything and the fact that you’re interested in all life on this earth not just people because we are all connected and the Earth is alive anyway. We are on the verge of transitioning into a new era, that is nothing like this hodgepodge matrix that we’ve been living in for ages and ages and ages and ages. You are seeking growth and you will have just the fact that you stated that. Enjoy all the books you’re reading all the new people you may meet and all the healthy and new things that you are experiencing right now in spite of what is going on outside, our homes. The world is rapidly changing and you trying to experience it at the deepest level you can I’ll be back. I really like your channel because it’s not just one genre. And yes, most of the good books do come out in fall because they want you to buy them for Christmas presents.

Have you read where the crawdads sing and yes, they made a movie about it but the book is so good it’s romance. It’s got great character development and the story is phenomenal. I just love that you went to learn more and read all different genres. I am probably double and a half your age so I’ve been reading most of my life.

Assistant to the villain sounds fun but the reviews are quite mixed. Keeping an eye out for your thoughts 👀 Oo heist books. Love a heist. I don’t have a list (yet) of books I want to read in 2024, but I’d like to at least read a couple of the books I hauled this year 😅

One book that I REALLY want to read this year is "Dune." I think I haven't started it yet because it's long and there are a lot of characters but I like the plot and story of it (based off the movie.) A book that I read this year that isn't necessarily a romance but is about relationships within a family unit is called "Educated" by Tara Westover. It's about a girl growing up with parents who are basically doomsday preppers and she never went to school until her adulthood. The author does a really nice job of narrating the relationships between the main character and her siblings particularly one of her brothers, her parents, and love interest.

I LOVE the movie Dune. However the book looks too confusing for me and there’s too many 😂 so plz let me know if you end up liking it Educated is one I’ve heard a lot about over the years. I hope you get to it soon :)

So many good books on this list! I own romantic comedy and have no idea why I haven’t picked it up yet 🤷‍♀️ Islands of abandonment sounds really interesting, I’ll definitely keep an eye out for that one I’ve checked the ferryman out of the library multiple times but so far haven’t read a single page 🤣

I’m planning to read Assistant to the Villain soon too! I’ve just been worried it will be too similar to my roommate is a vampire and other new books where the relationship is just insta lust and not them falling in love. One on my tbr I have been scared to read is An Arrow To The Moon because its the only book I own that’s a Fairyloot edition and I would be so sad if I didn’t like it 😬

Oh my gosh that’s so odd that you mentioned an arrow to the moon, I’ve wanted to read that forever. If you get to it first let me know!!!

I took stock of how many unread books I have and the total comes up to 20. I usually try to keep this number lower because seeing unread books pile up on my shelf gives me anxiety, but now that I read more regularly than before, this number doesn't seem as daunting. I know I will most likely prioritize library books since those have a due date, but those are the books that specifically call out my name: - Meet Me By the Fountain (Alexandra Lange) - Open Book (Jessica Simpson - biography) - The Dallergut Dream Department Store (Miye Lee) - Exit Interview: The Life and Death of My Ambitious Career (Kristi Coulter) - The Song of Achiles (Madeline Miller) - The Anxious Generation (Jonathan Haidt) - Death & Other Inconveniences (Lesley Crewe) - Slow Dance (Rainbow Rowell) *BTW, this book got picked as the latest Reese's Book Club selection, so I have a feeling it will get talked about more in the months ahead for that reason* I am not sure all of those books will get read before the end of 2024, but I hope I can weave at least part of that list in between library reads. Oh, and Assistant to the Villain and its sequel are on my list of possibly purchases with my birthday rebate, so if you get to read and review the first book, I'd love to hear what you have to say about it.

We have several in common here. Having a lot of unread books also makes me anxious and my situation is way out of control 😂 I think the move will help with getting rid of some and I’m actively working on decreasing it. You listed several I want to read in general!! :) thanks as always for sharing your thoughts.

How about any possible suggestions of fiction about time traveling? Netflix had a series called travelers that was excellent and I think it’s still on there too but if you watch that and you know any books fiction of course with time traveling then, please let me know.
