Was looking for you all weekend! Such a shame I didn’t see you guys but glad you had fun. Your 2022 Boomtown video was the first vid we found of you guys cos we’d booked tickets for this year and had never been before, so my partner and I have watched it about 3 times 🤣 we fell in love with your content and have watched every video since and the old ones too!!! Thanks for going again, hopefully see you next year!
Yes lads, bumped into big beard and robs “brother”\sister outside acid lab in 404… next year you’ll have to come and do skylark, get yourself a nice tipi or bell tent, then you got the full boomtown experience.
@simonl.6338 tbf there was some cool things looking back. Like a big umbrella that people were coming in and out of. There was some other cool bits like dancers in the buildings. Tbf it did make it different.
Feel like this and Glasto are the two festivals in the UK that actually feel like an escape from the real world. I don't want this arena/camping split, all arena's looking exactly the same with the same vendors. The effort those two events put into theming, actors, secrets, etc, is unmatched.
Well said. It makes all the difference. Stand still anywhere in either festival, and within 5 seconds you’ll see something you’d never see anywhere else in the world
I can think of more but I'm keeping them to myself, sorry. Just have it be known that they do exist. I see in this video there's some brand activation areas at Boomtown, fuck that shit. I'm not paying for a festival ticket so you can market shit to me. Seek out independent festivals that don't do that shit and you'll find good times.
Lost village is up there I reckon, theming there is quality, but Boomtown is quite incomparable to anything else in the uk. Nothing comes close. Best festival I’ve ever been to.
Ngl, where's waldo festival edition would be a great recurring segment. Maybe not at every festival, but places like Boomtown, Glastunbury or even Coachella (due to the sheer scale of the festival grounds) would be hilarious.
Before I start watching I just wanna say I've actually been looking forward to this video for a couple of weeks now. Can't wait to see what shenanigans you lot get up to, you've made me want to go so much so I'm getting a ticket for next year!!!
This vid is up there as an all timer. Some legendary moments and plenty of memes for future merch. Well played on the edit and I'm glad you had such a good time
Loved this video!! Had the best weekend and it was so lovely to bump into you guys - glad you liked the ducks and that they had a safe hiding place 46:05 x
Best Festival in the UK in my opinion. I am not a big Drum and Bass head I was more there for the UK Garage but seeing Shy FX on the Sunday this year was a must. Seeing the aboslute joy brought to everyone there when he was announced late was amazing. Whispers of him being confirmed spreading through the crowd. Best 5 days of the year!
I love how much Mary enjoyed boomtown! Was so cool to meet you guys there, glad you loved it and got stuck in with the story vibe. Meeting rob after he got banished from the temple was jokes. Hope to see you there next year
Pretty impressed with how you guys are managing to keep these festival videos so original when you are going week in week out! (I'm loving the use of the Crash sound fx btw)
Love the shots of travel to the festivals, setting up, tearing down etc! Please dont take them down long term - definitely part of the whole festival experience for me
Holy crap, the effort, planning and staff of the Betterverse, bravo. Seems like such a one of a kind festival experience, big ups to all those involved
53:28 This was great! TPD, please go to Boomtown every year and get more involved in the story and theatrics of this kooky place. It was so fun to watch you guys interact and play with characters and storylines. Love you guys! Xoxo
Had the pleasure of meeting Rob in the bad apple bar. Was the most genuine bloke you could ever hope to meet. Thank you so much for talking with me for a min or 2, it meant the world. Another crackin video from you guys!!! 🤙👍
New subscriber. People at home appreciate good editing. Outstanding 😁😘🤙🏽🔥 Edit: always wanted to see Gimli skip.😂 Edit 2: plight club go back to your skinny oat frappachapachino. 😂 Edit 3: magic dynamic with friends enjoying life. Love this shit ❤❤❤
Glad you guys went again, would’ve loved to bump into you there! If you guys go next year I would deffo recommend seeing the opening and closing ceremonies. I know drum and bass may not 100 percent be your thing but they are absolutely incredible!!
You guys have become my favorite channel since I found it a few days ago, have just been binging all the episodes! Really makes me want to attend one of these someday, and meet you guys! Keep killin' it out there, & keep making great content!
Epic video boys. Apply for a media pass for " Shambhala Music Festival " in BC Canada. No festival compares to this. It was voted top festival in North America.
@@jsp__ They have testing tents that allow you to test all drugs before taking. Many people try to sneak in liquor regardless. If you want something bad enough, you can typically find it somewhere from someone as everyone is trading there.
@@GetBehindTheScenes Don't get me wrong I like drugs and testing tents are very good thing! but I'm guessing sneaking in a crate of beer would be harder than some pills or tabs - seems like that would push a lot people to using drugs instead of drinking? I've always respected shambala but that sounds crazy for harm reduction
@@jsp__ Technically all substances are banned as it's a dry festival but you are correct, drugs are easier to sneak in as they are way smaller. They setup the testing tents and harm reduction sanctuary to help with people using drugs at the festival as it's on private land. I still have yet to see a fight in 7 years of attending
I love watching you all and as a pre Covid Boomtown veteran I’m so gutted that you were late to the party and haven’t experienced the old layout of Boomtown. While it still looks great and holds its magic, the old layout for me was sooooo much better. It was bigger, madder and larger than life. You’ve not had the true boomtown experience 😢
