Try increasing aminoacid l-serine which helps increasing tryptofan and melotinin/serotonin effect. Low GABA levels also affects the sleep. B1, zinc and glutamin supplements increase the GABA levels in the brain for better sleep.

My best friend can't sleep unless he eats before bed and he can't gain weight. Never has been able to put on weight. He's actually losing weight at the age most men begin unintentionally gaining weight. This eating before bed actually gets him sort of drunk like. Is there anybody out there that may know what this could be a sign of to narrow down the possibilities?

Give yourself a 4 hour window during the day for eating food. Then the remainder of the time is intermittent fasting. Example: First meal at 12pm, last meal at 4pm, in bed by 10 or 11pm. Next day first meal at 12pm.. repeat. The idea is to give yourself 20 straight hours of fasting each day.

I've always done intermittent fasting and I get plenty of exercise from my job, so at least I'm able to keep my weight fairly low. However, I work evenings and then end up eating MOST of my "daily" calories near bedtime AND mostly in the form of processed junk foods. So, I don't start feeling even human until very late in the evening 😝 Anyway, thank you for the encouragement to reverse this horrible habit... I feel like I can finally do it now

@@christinemott8799 i have no problem, i wonder if you were fat adapted or if you had enough nutrients in you, about a month ago i did a 2 week fast, and right now i am finishing day 9 of another 2 week fast along with many 36 hour fasts, every couple days, feel great, check with dr berg about how to do a fast, it actually sharpens the mind and gives so much energy that sleep can be difficult, it is not supposed to cause coma like feeling, plus you would be missing out on benefits like human growth hormone, autophagy and new stem cells

MK677 is hands down the best way to increase it and it’s just an oral capsule/liquid, along with healthy foods, high protein intake, and maintaining a steady blood sugar level. You should eat the bulk of your carbs before and after working out, to which you can time a spike in testosterone and growth hormone as your body uses and replenishes those carbs, working out increases gh. At least 2 hours. If you can't, then start from 1 and work your wat up to 2.

I have to suppress my growth hormone with medication. I have acromegaly. I guess all I have to do is go off my meds! Also, the sugar thing is real. A test for excess GH is to a blood test before and after drinking a sugary drink. Sugar suppresses GH. If the GH doesn't go down after consuming sugar, that's not good...

Most Hindus do Fasting on 11th day of every fortnight. Its a spread out fasting starting from 10th day... Light dinner 11th day... Full fast ( no liquid, no sleep ) 12th day early morning early lunch, afternoon.. Liq, fruits and night only light dinner This process is done twice a month. This gives close to 48 hrs fast spread out in 3 days. Yeah that's what I hear about not eating before bed in fact you should not eat before bed and then go 16 hours because it gives your body a chance to work on rejuvenating cells instead of digesting food
