Dairy is big business and big business requires big funding...Most dairies internationally have reasonably easier access to funding . That is super hard in Nigeria.... The financial institutions must agree/ be mandated to support reasonable borrowing geared towards strategic economic development.For example the owner of a dairy farm must be able to access enough loans to fund new farm machinery...A new farm tractor/combine costs between 300k USD to 1million USD depending on the power output. Another leg is insecurity especially in the farm areas... A workaround though is to have nigerian investors come together to raise funding from themselves (owners equity)...There's a lot involved here..too much to be discussed in a 7 minute interview
