He is no joke. He is real. All these words he uses are really in Webster Dictionary. He uses the word etymologies and Latin. He studied very well. I am just jealousy.
Even those who complain that he is supposed to speak in simple English just because he is addressing common Nigerians would not deny the fact that anyone who listen closely even without knowing the meaning of some of his words will still understand him
Nigerian are very talented. The altitudes of Patrick O. encourage Nigerian youth to read beyond imagination. Thank you Sir. May God safe Nigeria from country rulling and controlling by Touts
Imagine him in South Africa Parliament on question time with famous Honorable Malema? I have no intrinsic word to qualify the showdown, they'd rather call on Hollywood movie directors to with the case before court hearing.
Lol. This is not how to speak good English though. He's not communicating. If he writes IELTS exam and speaks this way, he'll fail woefully. He's entertaining though

What's essence of communication when the targeted users cannot comprehend your information. I listened to OBAMA and I understood all everything he said. Communication is to express but not to impress...
i must add that he is good. like he said in the beginning, most of those who say his grammar is wrong or too much are to agree that he is just more vast than they are cos his words checks out if you google them at least. As for the politics, he is also very correct cos only one who decides to be irrational will claim that things should turn around immediately from what it was to what they expect it to be.
@@joshuaetukudo1519 Omo! You're correct and I don't disagree to that fact. In as much as the change won't be instantaneous, I must say that the change we see these days is rather the opposite (not as I expected back then). I have come to the conclusion that neither of the popular parties or it's members can help us out. It's as though they thrive on the decay of every aspect of this country. 👌
Igodomigodo....the greatest grammarian of our time...for the shallow minds that ask if he has bettered his consistency with his grammars,my question to them, those who don't speak have they done so?patrich will force you to add new word to your collection of words..if u really want to learn.
That you do not understand when he speaks, is your own problem; NOT the spoken English. Literature encourages such kind of complex words and they are called "Flowers of Literature".
Bro, I used to love this man when he was pdp, he came out and attacked the northern oligarchy!!. Then he switched parties and was relevant for a few days, after that he was thrown away. Now he’s a complete nobody even in his own local govt, let alone the whole country, where he used to be somebody. Chai, this will show you how powerful and destructive these northerners are to a southern political career. If he had stuck with attacking apc and the north, he would have been higher than what he is now. Politics aside, his English is correct, it is not his fault that Nigerians don’t read !!!.
If audience does not understand you that means you're not communicating. What the essence of communication when people cant comprehend you. We all knew his grammar are all correct but he dare not use it when talking to group of people. Even soyinka at times slow to his audience.
Patrick obayangbon shouod consider himself as an illiterate. He sead commutation takes place when the person You are talking to understand what you are saying. He was in politics for years and we couldn't see what impact he made. Maybe he can't speak common English but we also have to commend him for knowing those words offhand even beyond who wrote the dictionary
They’re in Google. Radiculopathy, Sciatica, and distopia ( are the present state of Nigeria, suffering in pain) are all in the dictionary and the context in which he used it, makes sense only problem it’s just to technical for the lame man to understand. Eldorado means a state of wealth.
In 1897 British force invaded beninis kingdom because of grammar that they can not understand English or Portuguese or benin their were confused to understand beninis kingdom grammar oranmiyan come to Benin in 1140 the same problem grammar may God almighty containue to bless Edo people all over the world amen OO
Many people are saying that, Patrick obahagbons grammar is not correct, let me say this for the first time, to be boldly speak grammar fluently is not an easy things, try and study him very well, he is loaded with a bundles of correct English, academically he has gone far.
His speech maybe sweet and deeply explaining the cries of poor Nigerians but as a speaker he must keep in mind that his speech is addressed to the common Nigerians. Most them wont be able to understand those uncommonly used words.
Celestine 1999 all his words make meaning. everyone 'll understand what he wants to mean. though he speaks big English but u 'll surely understand his view
I think he chooses the largest words to express himself. For example, instead of saying 'Mount Olympus' or 'second' he'll say 'Mountain Olympus' or 'secondly'. Both are correct however one is more succinct. He's a verbal maximalist. Lol
