Welcome to the April Progress Update for Legacy Edition Minigames! Credits: www.legacyminigames.net/credits LEM is a fan creation and is not associated with nor endorsed by: Mojang Studios; 4j Studios; or their affiliates.
YOOOO IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS! I play the OG Glide minigame music on streams sometimes and I get questions about where it's from cause it sounds a little like the C418 OST most people know. Can't wait to be able to play the Glide minigame on stream now!! This is so cool, bringing back pieces of forgotten childhoods everywhere :D
To my knowledge all the Glide OST songs were composed by Gareth Coker. There will be more progress in next month's update, look forward to it. - S_N00B
This is the most exciting Minecraft project right now along with legacy4j and reconsole! It's so awesome the legacy console community are building all of these projects to bring all this back.
Within literally the first 2 seconds of watching I just got straight nostalgia seeing Crucible again.. i can't wait to see how this server develops. eventually having support for Legacy4J/Re-Console would be the ideal world but I'm aware how hard developing a server to fit around UI changes, while also making your own UI changes, can be.
I do hope the requests open back up soon, I sent a request right as it closed lol. I played on this server a while ago and remembered this server when I found the Console-idated modpack. Unfortunate that it had to go to a whitelist system, but I look forward to getting on at some point once stuff is resolved!
@@LegacyMinigames I meant that, just like during April Fool's Day, the whitelist would be turned off for a while, only on the occasion of the 15th anniversary
It is likely for tumble to release before glide, as the major hard part (The layer generator) is in a state where its usable for a playable game, however LEM's codebase is still not ready to handle gamemode switching, which is why its not available yet. S_N00B has been working on some Glide mechanics and visuals in the meantime while other developers work on things.
Legacy4J is incompatible with LEM currently. There are talks with the people behind it and we have an idea on how to fix all the issues but it will take a while until it's available.
