If a vehicle has to slow down to a 20MPH zone there are three facts that contradict the CO2 narrative. 1. The vehicle takes longer to travel through that 20MPH zone. 2. The engine speed is higher as the vehicle is in a lower gear. 3. Higher engine speed means more exhaust is being emitted for a longer period, as the vehicle is travelling slower.
Whilst that's true for ICE vehicles, the garbage EV's are most efficient at low speeds and with as little acceleration as possible. This is the real reason they're lowering speed limits, this and to frustrate people out of ever going anywhere. Geoff Buys Cars did a test drive of a Tesla, he drove 3 miles (driving the same as he would an ICE vehicle) and lost 12 miles of range!

@@matthewnirenberg the real reason why the 20 mph speed limit is being implemented is, if you are hit by a vehicle doing 30 mph, you are more likely to die rather than survive, BUT, if you are hit by a vehicle doing 20 mph, you are more likely to survive than die and you cant "fiddle those FACTS" either.

It’s been allowed for foreign drivers to get a pass to drive black cabs without being able to speak English I was told this by a real black cab driver after I was taken to wrong destination by an angry driver that couldn’t understand a word of English I’m sure you’ve heard about this happening before It’s madness what’s going on
Been going on for years. I had one 30 years ago in Bristol. No idea where the destination was, jumped red lights, went up a one way street the wrong way and finally drove along a pedestrian precinct. Then end the joy by screaming 'tip. Tip' at me. I told him Lucky Jim in the 4:30 at Epsom.
I’m a legal immigrant from America, and my immigration person has told me to not even get a parking ticket for my last Visa next year because this last Visa is very dependent on my character. I live in Wales, and have a British license, but I always obey the beyond ridiculous speed limit for this reason. Sorry if I piss people off. It’s so unfair that thousands of illegals are here when I have done it legally, spent thousands to be here! So, so unfair! Plus, I have always had to show that I could financially support myself to be here, never entitled to any government benefits. Like I would ever take any benefits! Even I don’t go back that far but I learned about the red flag requirement probably from back in the early 1900s when my wife attended a past life regression session and recalled a fatal traffic accident in that era. She declared, whilst under hypnosis with an indignant and well-to-do voice, that someone should have been walking in front of the vehicle with a red flag. Further research proved that was in deed the law back then.

It's crazy in Cardiff 20mph and 30mph I'm always looking at the speed limits even when I'm in a taxis it's crazy I got to leave early for my shopping or hospital appointments it is going to drive people mad out there and the government is trying it out here in Wales never mind we can't stop the government doing anything
Just drove through wales around cardigan and the 20mph were there - I actually couldn’t believe it - just come back from Ireland where there’s no cameras no potholes - I really felt the freedom
need to have a Citizen on the record, requesting any new legislation, for any change to be proposed - not some govt official deciding what's needed; yes, I know we have representative govt but they've gone mad with all these proposals. citizens aren't asking for even 10% of these changes being imposed
Now I'm a retired old fart n ex trucker I find myself driving and riding my motorbike at around 25 mph and I'm quiet comfortable at that however 20 is a struggle also high revs will create pollution.the British are sick of being kicked whilst we are down by people who are paid to look after our money and our interests.
A month or so back I had to take my daughter to play hockey in Tower Hamlets and I was forced to endure the 20 mph speed restrictions on main roads. I used to work and live nearby back in the good old bad days of 1990’s- early 2000. At 30 mph you could drive a green wave of traffic lights. Now at 20 mph you’re getting stopped at every traffic light. It was a good job it was a Sunday but never again.
Hire a lawyer and place your tax funds into escrow(the lawyer's legal account) while under litigation no action can be taken against you to seize property but it will be better to do it as a community and hire the lawyer to represent the entire community. Good luck from Canada!
In America, they put up these big electric digital signs that tell you how fast you're going in a 25mph zone. 28mph, 27mph, 30mph, 36mph, 48mph... Cuz we floor it.😉
My wife suddenly shouted “they’re on red” I put my foot down and got out of trouble. It was a busy roundabout smothered in signs and I’d managed to see everything but the traffic light!🤷🏻♂️

Scotland has, I believe LEZ I've not heard of ULEZ up here, there might be in some parts of the cities..I don't drive anymore, but the bus I take on a coastal road is 40mph..

20 mph zones are not for clean air it’s for driverless cars .look up ADAS system’s on RU-vid the way it works is cars will be to fast if passing each other at a combined speed of 60 mph so car have to be slowed down and all cars have ADAS and are learning and sending data back to the manufacturer.plus for driverless cars to work it will when 5G is fully in place.
I live in Melbourne in Australia in the area of Wyndham city about 23kms west of the Melbourne city and apparently Wyndham city area where I live is a 15 minute city ? I’ve noticed nothing different here other than our land rates going up.! There’s stuff all in our area but it’s one of the biggest growth area in Australia with millions of Indians coming to Australia they are taking over everywhere and can’t drive for shit.

I live in Wales. I don't drive, but I've got a friend that drives. She's finding going down to 20mh on and off, hard going. I can understand 20mh in really built up areas or near schools. But in other areas it does seem ridiculous

20mph speed limit for certain built up areas. Where I live in Sussex many drivers belt though a small market town centre without any care for pedestrians. More speed cameras as well.
How does this effect delivery drivers & their hourly drops? Ive been told that speed limits decreasing from 30mph to 20 mph would mean it would take a third of the time longer to achieve the same workload. I'm aware that there is an infinite amount of variables at play as some drivers work shorter routes & others go further afield. Im not good at this maths stuff so any help with this is much appreciated. Cheers👍
Rather stick to the speed limit i dont care if the vehicle behind gets annoyed but yes with all the speed limit changes it can be dangerous when driving constantly check the signs
