It's deeply disturbing to see the number of comments recommending that this border collie be immediately caged to...teach him how to be caged, presumably. Border collies are working dogs with enormous amounts of energy, & they require extensive physical & mental exercise. That is not possible when they're trapped in a cage. I can't understand people who opt for dogs that require abundant exercise & stimulation when the person KNOWS they will end up keeping that poor dog in a cage all day. Humans are inhuman. Don't get a pet if you can't offer it a good quality of life! Don't get a dog if what you intend is to 'crate' him/her ie lock them in a cage while you're away for hour after hour.
I have one. He is 40 days old and looks very similar to yours. He bite everything and has a bad temper. I am training him to use the toilet, but it is very difficult....
He's too young! Border collies should never be adopted before 2,5 months. That's why he's not clean yet, he hasn't been ready to leave as young as 40 days. His mom couldn't complete his education.
@@ivanitababic That's not true I got mine from one of the best Border Collie breeders in the world and they said we could adopt her after 8 weeks. The most dogs aren't clean when they're adopted but that doesn't last long if you train it hard enough, they can take it because they are Border Collies one of the most intelligent dog breeds. This is our third one and we always got them around 8 weeks.
@@Melixer_ 40 days is definitely not 8 weeks. By law 8 weeks is the minimum allowed, it doesn't mean the dog is ready. The best way to know is to see if they still drink their mom's milk. If they do, they're not ready.
Bru this is like my dog right here it bits stuff it talks back it's rude and it bits (My doggo a border collie it's a female it's 4 months old and it's name it's ruby) Trust me peeps don't get foollec by da puppy eyes if u look in deeply u can see it's dark side (Dog GRRRRRRRFR *bits planes bites shoes eats my toe*)
I had to deal with that it was really sad but then my parents got back together so it was good. Our border collie passed about three weeks ago and it’s really sad
Tall over the back. Chewing my shoe and leaving me. His toy. And he doesn’t like the water hose. Either must be something. With border collies Or all puppies that amazes them
The first thing you need to do is to put your border collie in a crate. Ask any good dog trainers and they will tell you the same thing. Dogs need structure and leadership, not chaotic freedom. Your video is showing exactly the things dog owners should AVOID!
Exactly. At my dads house we trained our black lab to go to his crate during dinner, to sleep, and when we ask him to. Hes great and listens all the time. At my moms house she put off crate training and now hes a stubborn dog with no place to go so he doesnt undertsnad right and wrong and dhe doesnt punish him gor say, going in the trash when no ones home. Hes like 7 and still tips over the trash can and bites cords.
Tip of the week .. do NOT put your shoe/flipflop down towards your puppy while filming it ... then play a little tug .. and then expect it to stop like this .. few more times of this and all your shoes etc will be destroyed ..
@@hisothebordercollie3599 I also have a border collie and live in an apartment. And it's true that as long as they have enough exercise, they can live in an apartment.
I have one called poppy she is so cute if you live in the uk I might have got my puppy from the same litter yours come from because I recognize it I have a few videos of the one I got on my you tube
