Actual best way to get a legit infinity: -Go to matchmaking and join a game or make your game public. -Once you join a game or someone joins your game, go to their Xbox, Playstation, or Steam Profile. -Message the player and in these specific words say: "Dupe infinity?", Don't worry everyone has a God Damn Infinity and if they don't have one they are obviously not a legit Borderlands player that you cannot waste valuable time on. -After the player confirms that he or she will dupe you an infinity, request for a trade and wait for the player to put a GLORIOUS Infinity pistol into a slot. -Request to battle for it. -When the battle begins and the player goes into his inventory, simply BACKSTAB YOUR FELLOW TEAMMATE IN A MURDEROUS FASHION AND TAKE THE INFINITY AS YOUR OWN PRIZE BECAUSE YOU ARE A LEGIT PLAYER AND YOU DON'T GET LOOT FROM GLITCHES AND YOU EARN YOUR LOOT BY STABBING THE HEARTS OF YOUR FOES AND DESTROYING THE LIVES OF MEN MMMMWAHAHAHA!! -When you take your fairly earned prize, leave the game or kick the player if he is in your game. -When he messages you with hate just reply with the words "get good cunt", and then block and report him for hacking and cheating, for the cheater he is and using exploits for others personal gain. Now you stand with your glorious infinity pistol, the strongest gun in the game! Never again will you have to spend a cent on pistol ammo and you can now take down any boss with your new prize. That moment when you get back into a game after a long time, start looking to get better, then realize that your favorite and one of the best BL2 youtubers is no longer with us... i'm literally sitting here reminiscing over how 'ol yote got me into WaW custom zombies... I still hold YotesLair as one of the best zombie maps made... real life has some really shitty RNG, doesn't it?

So far I've gotten 8 Differant Infinitys from the Gold Golem and at least 10 Differant Conferance calls from the Sorceror.

I got 2 infinity pistols in under 15 mins. both non-elemental, crap accuracy and fire rate. THANKS GAME. Also the guns pattern is a infinite symbol. That pattern makes the gun unusable for range.

For my first infinity, it took me about an hour. Than I tried it again a few days ago and got 3 in a row after just 10 min. I felt kinda lucky.

Can't believe I'm still playing this game

I have not gotten my infinity yet and as an assassin, its a pain in the goddamn ass to farm it, but I've gotten my way around this problem by using a combination of the Thunder ball fist and a good fire SMG (I have an e-tech fire one). You just hop on in with geyser but when you get on the ledge you have to use your deception and aim it at the wall so it doesn't attract doc. Once this happens, make sure you've got the thunder ball fist up and aim for his head. This should take out his shield and as you trip him up, pull out the SMG and finish the job. Try make sure you're on the jaw of the giant skull head thing so if you ever get put into fight for your life mode your launcher can actually hit him (I guess i should mention to have the launcher out but its kind of a necessity when you play as the assassin). The fast hands upgrade will definitely be useful for switching out the SMG in time as the head shot might not always stun him. I have not gotten the infinity yet but its so much easier to farm this way (also it might help to know that you can get the thunder ball fist from captain flynt ((funny story, I actually got mine while looking for the infinity by killing the loot midget loaders in the wildlife exploitation preserve :T)) Good luck

Here's the FAQ for people who still ask stupid questions: 1. Q - IM LVL 10000 BUT I GET LVL 0 INFINITE?!?!?! A - The level of the boss represents the average level of the weapons it will drop, so a lvl 36 boss, for example, will drop weapons level 34 to 37. Enemies don't scale to your level until UVHM, so yeh. 2. Q - CAN U DUP ME A LVL 1200000 FIYR INFINTE ON NINTENDO 64?!?!?!? A - No. That's it.
